the mosque's and architecture goes back to Ottoman time i saw very similar in Istanbul takes your breath away.

I do not think that Iran has such a big conflicts. It is like in a family ... the ageless conflict between Youth and Elders. Especially in Middle East cultures which are Ancient. Eventually they will sort it out ... without nosy neighbors and strangers help. conversing

I lived in Iran (Tehran) for almost 3 years. It was an amazing adventure, but also very hard. I was young, about 12-15 years old. We left in 1977 right before the Shah was "removed" from office.

We saw tanks and soldiers on our streets every day, but there was still a lot of beauty surrounding the poverty. I am grateful for the experience, and will never forget it.
