He will be missed and was one of the greatest actors of all time.

My favorite movie of all time: The Ten Commandments

What were your favorites?

Two absolute favourites: El Cid. The history was virtually flawless and in todays context of a resurgent Muslim world it should be remembered what drove the real historic Cid to seek an amiable peace.
The other is Major Dundee, because it concentrated not only a small 'incident' but on the little known, never mentioned era of history and remains totally obscure to most that do love military history as it covers a time when after the US Civil War, thousands of former Confederate soldiers left the US to join foreign armies around the world, especially for the Emperor Maximilian of Mexico.
Incredible and fantastic actor.

He was "out of the way" in 2003 at the onset of Alzheimer's. Now he has died - Would it hurt you that fucking much to at least show a little respect? I'm sure that he would have returned the favor.

(I know, I know - "Doesn't even deserve a reply!")

Have a nice day!

R.I.P. Mr. Hesston...

No..it does deserve a reply!

Guns are in the hands of many people that don't know what to do with them. His advocasy of guns without background checks, I believe is responsible for many shootings in this country. No..I can't prove that(I said I believe). But his attitude of letting people have guns across the board, was irresponsible in such a violent country.

JMO, of course

For some reason, "The Omega Man" was one of my favorites. It was an over-done, over-acted, over-cheesy movie in a most 70's way. Fun stuff.

I was not crazy about him being a mouthpiece for the NRA, but so be it.

R.I.P.
