Seems to me the Americans were paying the British some taxes as well. I think they had a tea party in Boston over some taxes?

I think they were probably taken into account in the Marshall Plan repayments grin

it was repayments of the loans at the end of the second world war Gilly - they were only just completed, cant remember exactly but I think a couple of yrs ago........

Long before the Black Slave Trade got going, the Morrocans were raiding Britain and taking off the entire population from seaside hamlets, for slavery in Morroco. They were a never ending source of slave labour, very expendable, treated abominably - their torture was also a form of amusement to the Morrocans.
