It would appear from the forum rules that chitchat is supposed to be elsewhere, and I think you all agreed to that signing up for a free site...

Absolutely.

But as i have seen in the little span of time i have been here .. Its there on almost all threads regardles sof who posted it.

So eventually at some point of time all of the regular posters have been involved in it in some way or the other.

dunno

For a few moments this was to find a way to add new voices to the discussions here. I know now that dissension will add nothing. Its not necessary for me to find faults as noted by some who took this to a personal level.
How many others on a given day piped in to only be blown away for being too critical and approached this from the wrong direction. I now have a personal email telling me that I have now been reported as offensive. Everyday life has its challenges.

PureSail,

Not everyone on this forum is "on" at the same time due to the fact that it is Intenational.

You will find that some people do not agree with you..

And others will be more interested in talking to you and agreeing with your views.

I have no idea why you were reported.

But if you chose to stay, you may find "like minded" folk dunno

Cool disagreeing is fine with me.

The " cake party " comment .. i dont know it was for whom.

On a personal note, I do not do any such thing deliberately.

Riya,

There are times that I like to be serious.

And there are times that I love "cake".

And I'm sure that is the way with many people.

If only we all could be on the same time schedule.

But we're not.

And I think we all need to be a bit more tolerant of the fun and games here. Myself included in that comment.

Some of us come here for fun & games and relaxation. Some of us come here to state our views.

I have been quilty too of criticizing the banter between friends.

I guess what I am saying is that tolerance and letting the other kids have a turn is the best way to go.

I vote for fun, friends & peace

Phew... finally read the whole thread! I'm not new here but go through stages of posting then life gets in the way and its hard to keep up. Most of the time i do feel like a newbie though cause' when i eventually come back on and venture through the forums i dont know anyone... my fault though!

Plus, international forums are just too fast paced so you choose whatever subject catches your eye or you would be up all night.

Seen a mention of divides... no one is ever going to be happy, jeezo with the amount of people on this site it is impossible. Its hard enough trying to get 100 people in a work to agree on a pub for the monthly works night out!! The musics too loud/too quiet/drinks are too expensive/its not 'their' kind of people.... same with forums really isnt it? You either go with the flow or you take a step back or i suppose in forums you put your tuppence worth in.

confused hmm this post is a bit all over the place! Hope it makes sense grin

The cake comment was one example as you lot seem to think you're running the show here...

If it's not deliberate, you're more naive and a pawn than I ever thought you would be...

Oslo, i for one have always appreciated your views to be independent and precise. You never mince words.

Ok .. I appreciate your honesty in saying what you just did. But i do find it rude and sort of what people call here " mind reading "
As you say " seem to think " .. i can confess i dont think anything remotely on those lines. Why should i ?

I am honest in saying i do not do it deliberately. As for other people, i cant speak for them. Well, if that makes me a pawn and naive so be it. I know i am no one's ally or pawn in battle. I stand by my views and thats all.

But why should you make personal remarks about me when you dont know me ?
