I looked at this discussion and removed all of the open spaces, all of the blank lines,all of the text repeated and emotes and it went from five pages to less then one. How in the world could people be interested in a site when at times you look at a good discussion and more the half of the replies are only emotes stretched out for pages. Rather Juvenal to try to add one word and five emotes is it not.


I started this with page five and each of you regulars have now repeated to yourself how happy that you are now that you can talk to each other. This started with a though of adding new to this did it not? You all stated the it was hard to get in and now you are in? Lucky you. It did not take long to look like any of the other discussions here. Same people same story.

This is not the first time that I have posted and I am not new here. If I had only bit my lip and agreed with you there would have been no reply on your part. I only expected to be criticized and the discussion started here with how to get new people. Dissensions will not permitted. We must all agree,,,, soon we all sound alike??

I think the thread was a good idea and made us think about the way we can be percieved by people who are knew. I don't think that anyone was saying 'aren't we lucky we have been accepted' but sharing experiences that is how we look at what we do and try to change things for the better !! jmo

I respect your opinion and your right to an opinion but just because you say that doesn't make it so.

Also my confusion at your previous post was just that....confusion....I didn't really get your point. It seemed self-contradictory as well as unduly negative (in my humble opinion)

I see these kind of threads as pub entrances, you go in and have a look around, now if it was the kind of pub where a few people huddled round a few tables debating mass particle physics in a very high brow self important manner I don't think I would linger very long... nothing against those who wish to sit and have long winded discussions on such matters... BUT, It just wouldn't appeal, not would reading through reams and reams of words when a few words and a few well placed emots will convey the same message
