way to flirt?

Guys and gals............RL and net!
Not pick up lines, but when you're really interested in someone what is a tell tale sign?

as in..........some women twirl or toss their hair
some male and female blush and look down when talking
some become touchy/feely.........touchin arm, back, behind etc
some men play with women's hair

ok so gimme yours! remember no pick up lines ...........ways you flirt!

I start by acting cool.

I catch her eye with a casual wave.

She looks at me and smiles.

I feel a little embarrassed.

I approach her.

Suddenly, I begin feeling nervous.

I can't think of anything to say.

I begin to feel foolish.

Then some other guy steps in and starts talking to her.

I look around.

See another woman.

Repeat as many times as necessary. (Still no results)

I actually don't honestly flirt. Just spend time conversing with someone if they interest me and it may lead to something deeper. I guess I am just too anally trying to find a mind that stimulates rather than a body.

For real now...I think conversation, especially positive and upbeat conversation, is the best way to get your foot in the door when trying to get to know someone. If that fails, and I've said this before, stomp on their foot and fill their hat with snow.
