Sometimes I don't understand the Original Poster's intention in their thread....

The wording may not be clear to me or I don't understand the question.

Obviously, making a joke about the post might get me in trouble.

Or be misconstrued as being rude.

Other than saying, "What the heck are you talking about?"

What's the politically correct way to ask?

Morning ladies wave

I find silence usually works best for me. It is VERY easy to be misunderstood on line even accomplished writters can be misunderstood.Toss in poor spelling, bad grammer and people who may not use English as a first language and mis communication is very easy. Sometimes its best to just be quiet and see what happens.handshake hug

Does that make sense??dunno confused

i don't even know for sure what OP stands for...original post or original poster?

One could always try the state and ask technique:As in

It sounds to me as though you are asking the best way to ensure you understand what the OP hopes to establish or learn from the posted topic. Is that accurate?

Of course that is pure (or impure) pop psychology and thus suspectrolling on the floor laughing and people could choose to consider it rude or flippant rather than a genuine desire for information.

Unfortunately, we have no control over peoples's perceptions and any determination they may have to read between lines that are not actually there.conversing
