Don't give up your own dreams hon...
If she truly is the one, fate will draw you together no matter what. Being with someone is not about sacrificing who you are, it is fulfilling your own dreams and experiences and both coming together as whole people that compliment each other and add colours to each other like a rich tapestry..

Yes I agree but when distance is involved something has to give to make the whole thing happen too, be yourself but yes go meet her ..... why not for a shorter break first so you know its what you both want before making bigger decisions like career breaks?

If you must meet her then why can't she come to see you and ya'll share the expense? of like the plane ticket that way you don't have to give up anything, a relationship is not an idea it is supposedly ideal.Although a short visit to see how things are going to work out might be a good thing but a career break? hmmmm.

so what is wrong with a short visit not a career change, two weeks imo is not enough time to know someone to change your career and dreams so I vote for a short visit or a couple of them then decide after all this is a big decision and you are yet younghug

That's awesome Danny. Good luck.
There's nothing negative about this, the distance will work itself out.
