Tribute to my Dad, Mason

Some of you know that my father has been in very poor health for awhile now. His battle is almost over and I will be flying back to the U.S. in a few days to see him for the last time. The once tall and magnificent man whose very presence used to have some of my young dates quivering inside...the gentle giant of a man...is now, in his final days, withered, frail, and losing the fight. It is from my father's examples and from his character that I have become the person that I am... that I value the things that I do. There is so much I want to say about him, but it's purely for personal cathartic reasons, so I will just leave it at this for now...

I wish you both lots of irish luck and love.......I lost my dad 5 years ago and miss him so much still....but he is looking out for me when i need it most as i always feel him with me, when i am at my lowest.....You take care....

I've been wondering what's been happening with him, Jeffrey, but was almost afraid to ask. What beautiful photos - I especially liked the one of you on his knee...you look like Shirley Temple there...what a beautiful young girl.
