I'm fairly sure it wasn' t soley a US determination~
Indy, your right, but i'll go further.
Britain has supplied anti aircraft and modern communications equipment that could decrypt all signals that the british and yanks used during gulf war part1.
Britain trained the officials who were involved in the production of chemical warfare materials.
America and Britain supplied the raw materials and effectively training to manurfacture chemical weapons before and during the war with iran.
Russian supplied ammunitions were modified by use of lathes supplied by germany to carry chemical warfare loads.
The Belgium contractors who built the hardened bunkers were kind enough to supply the plans of exactly where to bomb and the building specifications.
You want me to mention the italian crews on merchant shipping who carried the stinger missiles?
Anyone who was anyone knew they had chemical capability, as we all supplied it! They didn't know the stocks they had even though they used to order tons of growth medium from the states as anyone can do with an university!!
Perhaps we shouldn't train equip or maintain any other regimes other than our own, as we clearly cant do that correctly.
