Oz incest father's daughter from second marriage feels traumatized

Sydney, Apr.8 (ANI): The daughter from the second marriage of John Earnest Deaves, the man who has had an incestuous relationship with a daughter from his first marriage, is completely traumatised by the revelation, her mother has said.

Deaves's second wife, Dorothy, said today that their daughter had not known of his relationship until it was aired on television this week.

Deaves and his daughter from his first marriage, Jennifer Anne Deaves, have had two children from their eight-year affair, with one child, a girl, dying a few days after birth from a congenital heart disease.

The couple say they started their relationship after being reunited in 2000, almost 30 years after Deaves separated from Jennifer's mother.

However, Dorothy, who runs a wildlife sanctuary in South Australia, told the Nine Network the two had met at a wedding in Sydney when Jennifer was 15.

"She came and stayed with us for a week the following year and up until 2000 she stayed with us four times. There was full contact all the time."

She said the relationship between father and daughter began in 2000 when Deaves made a business trip to Dubbo Zoo, which had been paid for by Jennifer who met him there.

Dorothy said Deaves returned to Adelaide and told her he had slept with his daughter, whose marriage was breaking up.

"When he got back here, he said: 'I had the best sex I've ever had with her. It was very traumatic. You just don't know what to say. You feel sick. You just don't know which way to turn, it was so heartbreaking, just too much to take in," Dorothy said.

"His youngest daughter [from his second marriage] didn't even know they were together and she is really traumatised - she is hurting terrible," The Herald quoted Dorothy, as saying. (ANI)

No its disgusting of course...I cannot even imagine how two people so closely realted could even consider something so sick whether separated for years or not...they obviously both need serious counselling and yes it is also totally illegal in Australia to have an incestuous relationship so authorities will charge them...

Yes I agree,,,but truthfully it is a rare thing to happen..well so publicly here in Oz anyway..what goes on outside the media would probably lift my hair.

I can't even fathom what pain and anguish the mother must feel...would make you want to strangle her at birth and totally castrate him.

Yes, must be terrible for the mother and if she's christian, she may even call an exorcist.

Well i accept that you did not intend a pun- but it is sick even to think of such a nasty act as " enjoying". Sex is always enjoying, so it means that one should enjoy sex with whomsoever he or she likes. If that is the case than we as humans would be worse even than animals. If one enjoys herione or any drug do you feel it is acceptable-just becoz its enjoying? It is question of how low one can fall in his or her life. The father and daughter both are to blame for this- no one of them is less culprit as neither of them were kids that they would not understand the implications of such a nasty act.

laugh

They are enjoying it and that's the sad truth. I don't condone the act though, i doubt it would matter to them if i or anyone else did, anyway. They would probably still enjoy it.

Human sexuality ranges from the puritan to darkest shadows of the human mind.

Acceptablity depends on loads of factors.

In societies such as the Pharoah era Egyptian, for example, it was acceptable to have brother/sister situation in the ruling class. As in fact in various other societies of the past.

In today's world, modern western cultures does not tolerate such situations and rightfully I believe, condems such situations.

However, there is a general rule that I believe applies concerning individual sexual parameters in our society today.

Between consenting adults, nothing is condemable.

Accent of the 'consenting'

Personally agree with you entirely.

I'd literally castrate any member of my immediate family in such circumstances.

Ok is this his natural daughter or step daughter? I mean either way it is wrong but was just a little confused on that. You also said that they are both to blame, but if he molested her as a child he is the one to blame. And how do we know that she really wanted to do it even as an adult? He could of pushed her into it. And if he molested her as a child she would regress to being that child in his presence.

There's this thing people say about daughters/sons being abused/raped by his/her parents, that for the vistim is harder, as within the abuse there's some measure of pleasure, as we all feel pleasure when doing so.

I believe only people who have been under those circumstances know how does it feel, and I believe is FAR from pleasure.

This is a subject that's even beyond words or understandings.

thumbs down barfing

wave You are correct! two consenting adults can do anything they want I think when people resort to something like this they have surely lost their soul, where is the passion of feelings? there are none in this sit because it was done in an animalistic way, the father being the leader, sorry fellas but it is true imo of course

I differ on this issue with you guys. How sick?? You mean to say that if father and daughter both agree than their physical relationship is acceptable? than how do we differ from animals- we as humans believe and propgate that we are the most developed species and have highest intellectual level. Even nature does not allow this ( science have proved that there is a very high chance of inherited disoders or familial disease to offsprings born of close blood relatives). Almighty nature has put and obstacle to such relationship and we so called modern people who believe in absolute liberty and freedom can go on to accept such trends!!! I think we really need to introspect ourselves as to what legacy and culture are we leaving for our next generation- a developed society or a jumble with no restrictions.
