I differ on this issue with you guys. How sick?? You mean to say that if father and daughter both agree than their physical relationship is acceptable? than how do we differ from animals- we as humans believe and propgate that we are the most developed species and have highest intellectual level. Even nature does not allow this ( science have proved that there is a very high chance of inherited disoders or familial disease to offsprings born of close blood relatives). Almighty nature has put and obstacle to such relationship and we so called modern people who believe in absolute liberty and freedom can go on to accept such trends!!! I think we really need to introspect ourselves as to what legacy and culture are we leaving for our next generation- a developed society or a jumble with no restrictions.

BIG MIS COMMUNICATION NO! it is not acceptable in any society anytime anywherethumbs down

There's this thing people say about daughters/sons being abused/raped by his/her parents, that for the vistim is harder, as within the abuse there's some measure of pleasure, as we all feel pleasure when doing so.

I believe only people who have been under those circumstances know how does it feel, and I believe is FAR from pleasure.

This is a subject that's even beyond words or understandings.

Deaves and his daughter from his first marriage, Jennifer Anne Deaves, have had two children from their eight-year affair, with one child, a girl, dying a few days after birth from a congenital heart disease.

The couple say they started their relationship after being reunited in 2000, almost 30 years after Deaves separated from Jennifer's mother

I don't see any victim here, just two consenting adults. Sick? Yes, but no mention of rape.

They were in smitten love

There just imaginary popcorn hun....

I don't know if it has to do with culture, or what, in my country, many families, that live in extreme poverty, live 5-10 in one room, so sex among brothers, mother and son, father and daughter is very common, and we have this kind of news everyday, it's not only sad but a fact we should all worry about, it happens everywhere, and we're in what? 2008??? OMFG!!

There's nothing acceptable here...let me tell you that...

Hello Eri. Hello all...

wave

Acceptability is a big word.

An uncanny reality exists even in the most advanced countries in the western civilisation that provides situations where such 'incidents' are 'acceptable' situations.

In small close knit communities, occurrences of inter-family relations are quite common. I am being very careful not to use the wrong words here. I am not saying 'normal' or 'acceptable'. They just occur. There have been case studies of children being born by mother and daughter from the same father.

While under normal circumstances this tends to be considered as perverse, it is however the 'norm' in certain social environs.

I don't think any one of us has the right to condemn. We have our personal stand I am sure, as to what is or not acceptable to us.

I for one, would certainly not approve. But that is beyond the point.

Sexual behaviour is so vast, nobody has the right to dictate.

I stick to my previous statemnet on the matter:

Between consenting adults, everything is game.

Accent on the consenting.

I like how you clarify things anyway you are right in some places it is acceptable but that kind of behavior can be nothing other than animalistic in my eyes.jmo
