No, not anymore I wouldn't... They are so obsessed with music and their image that it becomes boring after a while.

Or maybe I just get bored with playing second fiddle violin to a guitar

I am a Musician, NOT an Entertainer, Therefore;

I couldn't Care LESS about "IMAGE".

You are Correct about one thing. I AM Obsessed With Music and have been since age 5.

And Finally; If I had to choose between a woman and Music, I will CHEERFULLY Choose Music.

Thanks Very Much For An Honest Answer. My Best To You.

I would ,,lol really ,, I would do it,,,,I even had it in my profile at one time that i would love to meet someone in which we could play together or maybe understand each other,,,,always thought that would be cool,,,,,,,,however, I must be honest with myself and realize that there are so many different musicians, you just never know,,,I surely would not refuse a date because they were a musician though.
lol,,,,hope that makes sense,,,think I am getting sleppy...

As long as he didn't strip half way through his songs or sing to me in bed...yes my mother would chase him with a turkey baster.

hmmm You agreed with me about the obsessed about music bit and also you agreed you would choose music over women.

That would make me right about two things in my mind.. Maybe just as well you are a musician instead of a mathmatician smile

By the way, I was replying to your thread topic in a general sense but somehow sensed in your replies which all started with "I" that you were taking them personally.

To be honest I had that you were a musician/ entertainer or even shop assistant as I've never viewed your profile.

Good thread though and good luck with the rest of it wine

I'm sure women will appreciate your honesty, but it was probably not wise to admit to that on a public dating site. dunno Good luck.

P.S. If you meant it like when you are already IN a relationship, then I don't think in a healthy relationship anyone would make you really choose between them and your big passion in life.

I respectfully disagree with you. If I am to find a woman on this site or anywhere else, I prefer to be HONEST about myself. After all; Finding one's ideal partner is a one in a million chance at best. I have, (And still do), enjoy a 40 year relationship with music. (Actually it has been 49 Years Since Piano Lessons Started in 1959), Most Marriages Last a FRACTION of that time. You honest reply IS APPRECIATED. Hope you can EQUALLY appreciate my reply as well. My Best To You.

I think it's good to have a passionate interest like music, but to choose 'between'

music and a person you love or who loves you... (?).

Why not consider moderation in that great interest and have the

opportunity to enjoy both.

(My second husband was a musician.)

I guess what you're really trying to say is that you don't want for anyone, including your partner/wife or whatever, to interfere or have anything against your biggest hobby. That is perfectly normal, I am the same way about my interests - if e.g. someone cannot stand dogs or will mind me going to shows with them, then we don't need to be together.

Otherwise, something is not quite right and I doubt any woman would ever sign up for that kind of a relationship if she felt she was estimated much lower than the hobby. (why would you be on this site looking for a lady if you truly felt this way?)

HOBBY? This is my CAREER. I FEED myself through Music. If You are a Professional Dog Breeder/Groomer/Trainer, Wouldn't You Feel "Slighted" if I referred to what you do as a "HOBBY"?

By the way, I LIKE Dogs.

And They, (Dogs), Like me as well.

Of course I would...

All that is needed is to understand the amount of time and dedication that a musical career takes.

And I have my own interests to keep me busy dancing
