.. genetically I couldn't escape my love of music if I wanted to.. my brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, cousins (more than one generation) on BOTH sides of the family are musical... I am the only one who CANT play an instrument though ... though I do like to sing...

Ever hear of the 'Clancy Brothers' my grand uncles... they were fairly big in America in the 60's 70's and although most have passed.. Liam Clancy is still going strong at 72

Small world Aries, I went to school with a girl called Geraldine Warren who was also related to them laugh

Usedname,

I think I can relate to your question. I only read through a few of the replies but here is my answer...

Most women, especially younger women are threatened by creative men. I think women who are secure with them self wont be intimidated but those women are very far and few between in my experience.

I'm a bit torn about stating my profession as women find it interesting but once in a relationship with creative or talent men in any Art eventually seem to think we are judging them or belittling them when we play a song at Family events or even wrap a gift better than them. It's some weird gender war going on and I'm afraid nobody told us?
