Can you have a god (a vision of or a sense of) and be able too describe him/her?

Hiya B.... I chose the third option.. cause its the closest to what I think.... with one qualification... although I think we are all linked and a part of the universe and everything in it.. like a single continium of energy.... I do not think God IS us per se..although I believe he is IN us and is the source of this energy... so although we are very closely linked to God.. he is the Alpha, the Omega, the Source.... Now I am still in the process of understanding all this.. so am not 100% sure in my own mind as to what is 'God'.... Though this is presently what makes most sense to me

I am not a Christian or a Muslim, but I do like how Jesus and Muhammad stated that we can never understand God if the truth were told to us....it would be too mind blowing and we are not spiritually evolved enough to comprehend the capacity of such a truth considering our paradigms and perceptions of God, our universe, our science, and ourselves.

some call it God and some call it Energy - its when it gets linked with theism that things start to go wrong

ps I voted for "a loving ability which we all share" cos I couldnt have two votes - my other one would have been that there isnt one, simply because I dont see much evidence in the world today of "loving ability" - I do see lots of things which keep people divided though

In us and the source? seems contradictory orla. I agree in part for myself but have trouble with the contradiction. For discussion's sake (in anology) say it is water and the source is the sea, it is still ALL water?

actually god as a client might be a worthy description, in an all inclusive sort of way.

It is difficult for sure to pen an understanding but if spiritually evolving to this truth is a factor then questioning is the catalyst.

Too bad I forgot the argument I used.

I consider god to be completely separate from religion. We are the ones who need something to believe in, something to worship.

God may or may not have created the Universe and all its contents but I suspect mankind created religion because faith was just too big a jump without the symbols.
