karma (getting back what you do to others/deserve) contradicts your earlier statement (quoted below) ..unless of course you think you deserve karma?
disabling karmic thoughts disables karma?

Okay, the thoughts do carry a certain karmic vibration with it. So karmic thoughts containing a certain vibration....either more positive or negative streams to it's respective astral plane. This can get very complicated......

I'll start a thread on Karma someday to clear this up. I have a feeling our definitions differ....it's not all about getting back what you do to others.

That little paragraph I threw up there were not my words, I just wanted to see how you would respond.

"God" really is just a man-made myth and maybe some kind of a psychological calmative for those who need it.

Just remember how that "god" came to us in the very old days: there was thunder and lightning and nobody knew what it meant and the humble answer was "god"! With analytical intelligence and information god just disappears....and so does the famous "devil" devil

Considering god as a singular ultimate entity, separate from us, as an observer so to speak, I suspect you're right charlos, though there's no proof either way, but: considering god as a presence of spirit, or the life force, the creative force, (energy) as in and of all of us, well then you have your analytical, yet floundering, intelligence. wine

change the words 'will always be' to 'presently is' and I'm with ya cups. I can't possibly rule out human nature's insatiable drive to uncover the mystery, as he does with all mysteries, at some point in time. yay

you may assign qualities to your own character as you wish. thumbs up

generally speaking when we see something in others or percieve something in others ((character traights etc.)) it is because we know that traight in ourselves. Its called mirrored self recognition if I'm not mistaken and when assesed properly allows us to radically view ourselves in reality. The actual possibility that we have really found it that traight in another is minimal at best.
