I'm a menace to society I always have been. I thought I was in love but obviously not. Oh well. I think if you're truly in love you can see the bad but you love them anyways because you know everyone has faults even the one you love and you move on. As long as the faults aren't hurting you or others and you can see past them then you are in love. You need to love someone for everything they are instead of hating them for everything they aren't.dancing

Whether or not we are "qualified" to fall in love .......dunno it would have never occurred to me.....but we see the casualties of love everywhere all the time, including here.....laugh

How about "willing and able?"

Was watching "The Office" sitcom the other night where we see into the twisted relationship the lead charactor is involved with...

HOLY SHEET, and WOW!

Reminded me of some of my earlier attempts at a loving relationship.

Like: anyone can get a plane to fly off the ground, just floor the throttle and it will take off... easy, BUT! If you haven't mastered LANDINGS, well, you know.

Relationships were the same for me, easy to start... then, the inevitable, CRASH AND BURN!

Just wasn't ABLE, was willing, yearning, wanting, yes... able, not so much!

Good question Gilly thumbs up Yep, I believe you can see bad things still about a person you love, its all down to how much you are willing to overlook (or not) these things - a good reason for taking a lot of time in getting to know somebody if you ask me and also a good reason to get to know the difference between love and infatuation thumbs up

Yes, you can still see the good, the bad, the ugly in the person you are in love with. Hoever, one chooses to ignore it , thinking the person will change.
I am qualified to love somebody, because I love myself first, and I am not waiting or wanting for somebody to provide me with happiness.
