One thing he says is surely true.....you don't make peace with your friends you make peace with your enemies....which involves talking to them. This happens, of course, when you finally accept that bombing them to bits doesn't work.
Keep up the good work, Hot Dude....
How do you make peace, when the negotiation and the talks are coming from so many sources......and many of the sources have
no aurthority to sign or do anything?
Obama is not a "given"at this point. Meaning he is not already crowned to be our next President. By Jimmy doing his thing with
these Hamas leaders that he has knows for long time......that he
never told us about in the past.......he undermining Bush and
C. Rice and what they have trying to do for the last 4 years.
There are even Moderate Dem that are upset with this.
If I was Bush...I would consider revoking his passport.....
let him land in Atlanta to go back to the peanut farm after his
Hamas meeting and then forcing him out the country. Bush has some legal right to do that by the way. Read our laws on sedition sometime.
Those could be extended to the Senate flip floppers as well.
Critizing our Administration is one thing. Shucks everyone is free
to do that and does that. Taking its role and position of it on the international stage is quiet a different matter.
If say Obama or Hillary get elected.......and are in the middle of negotiations on the Middle East...you think that they would be happy if GWB says in the middle of them....I am going to meet with my old friend Abbas?
Want to hear some complaining.......either would be raising a storm
of it. That is what the Dem have set into motion here with the
Polisi visit to Syria and Carter meeting with Hamas. A never ending
cycle of political parties criss crossing the negotiation process.
I am sorry but I don't think that you will get Middle East peace this
way.
