So far, it sounds like there's one advantage and one disadvantage. The members may be more serious, because they're paying and are less likely to invent multiple personalities. However, as Rasgumby said,

"Bad thing was.. they kept taking $$ from my back account for months after I canceled out, had to fight like hell to get my money back"

That is a very common fraud, you will see if you browse a little. No way would I give that kind of access to a cyber entity. If that's the only terms they offer, then they're crooks.

One funny kind of paysite is free to join and receive e-mail, but costs money to send e-mail. Not surprisingly, you're likely to receive quite a bit of e-mail, presumably from people who have paid to say "Hi. Ur cute. Watcha doin'?" Yeah, right.

So, who else has experience? So far, it doesn't sound like a good deal at all.

I have, and they sucked. I was curious about E-Harmony, but being separated barred me from their site; I tried Match.com, Yahoo, and others, however...this place strikes me as far better than them in every way.wave

and when it's only at the end that they tell you it's charged, it sucks worse when they keep sending you mails like: "we miss you" as if you've ever been there!laugh

I have been on pay sites before briefly and the funny thing is all the people you see on the free sites are on the pay ones as well so really it's a waste of money.
