If the court took your kids from you wouldn't you do everything possible to get them back? Britney is trying real hard to get hers back? Do you think it is fair to take other children away from their mothers, because the mothers are different from you, different language, culture , religion, when there is really no proof of abuse?

The removal of children is not some arbitrary choice ..... there have got to be legitimate reasons for such. A parent (whether man or woman) may not be in the position to fight to get custody back for quite some time depending on the issues involved. Should they still have access to visitation - yes/no depending on the circumstances if its a danger to the children.

I think that the welfare of the child comes before that of the adult - the child is not able to care for themselves ................. and unfortunately unless an adult is threatening to harm themselves or others they can refuse help. Seems that we are least able to help those that truly need it - but can't see it for themselves.

This is an extremely difficult situation to be in for all family involved ........ there are no winners until the people needing help realize and seek it out.
