School in the 70's: You stood your ground during a fistfight, and no one jumped in. You either won or lost. If you used a weapon, your were dubbed a coward.

Now: You'll be jumped, no doubt, if you win. Maybe shot or stabbed.

Americans sometimes get what they deserve. I remember the bad guys at school were the smokers that went to their cars at lunch hour. Now the bad guys carry guns to school. Times have changed. A rather sad commentary on the state of our Union.

I already am! every parent has complained that things have changed, it is not like it was when I went to school.
This happens every generation. You have to wonder just how bad will the next one be?

It's so sad to see the changes within our schools...
I graduated high school in the mid 80's and things are light years away from the way things were then. During the years I was in school, the worst things kids did at school was get caught smoking in the bath rooms...now...you have to worry who's going to take a gun to school and if your child will make it home safely...uh oh!
scary stuff...
