I have a friend here who recently has been shareing messages she recieves from this site. I must say I am amazed as this is a LADY who has received a butt load of vulger, nasty messages.

I want to understand what makes anyone think this method will get you anywhere. I have never known a woman who would find this bahavior attractive!

And to the ladies, is this common here and what's you thoughts on the matter?

Its how you let them affect you that matters this is a free site and a dam good one at that you have to take the good with the bad.

Ignore them and move on. There just idots writing shit. JMO

I've gone through phases of it but not recently .... I just block the like (and mail them first to say why!) Agree in who thinks this approach would actually work with anyone that is breathing???

Think some can come down the your profile wording .... if it can be misinterpreted they are those that will ...... think stressing the friends thing on mine lately has helped and have got far more genuine people mailing me now.

I am fortunate, when I first joined I received that crap but I don't anymore. Just delete it. Why would anyone that is an adult that freely joined take something like that seriously? Take it for what it is worth~~~ nothing......be happy : D

Think we have all had this type of approach at one stage, I just sent back a message to let them know am laughing at them then block them. You cant let the shite get to you, lots of decent people on here.

You have to understand there is a large variety of people her as in the real world.

The diffrence is many are from different countries and hide behind a coumputer screen and think they can write whatever they want. Because they know no-one is going to step all over their shit being so far away.

If it is that troublesome to your lady friend maybe consider a paid sit where they control it better.

But IMO a free site like this you have to take the good with the bad. And why not block or delete instead of forwarding it to you and reading it and getting upset.

There are some great people here, that's a fact. But I had no idea of the extent of this BS. And that its happening to a good friend pisses me off even more!

vulgar, meaning common, coarse and crude? Yes, it happens. Nasty happens as well.

It is not very attractive. Some things may be ignored, from a playful person. Other things may be ignored from a nasty person because he/she has no real effect on one's daily life.

I can tolerate vulgar much more than nasty, personal assaults. Anyone can say whatever they like, what does it matter to me? If it's directed at me and it's nasty, that's a different matter, entirely. I would block the nasty commenter.

I guess I'm the one over reacting. I'm just a believer that I should step to her defence in this situation. That's what I'm supposed to do, defend a lady honor. But I can do nothing here.

In real life maybe. But ask yourself a question besides sendind a nasty email back which gets you nowhere , and puts you in the same catergory as what you are fighting against. What can you do?
It's easier to delete and ignore and prove you or in this case her is a better person.

I'm not really sure what you are talking about in particular....maybe if you could be more specific I could give my views on it.....
