Just got done listening to Obama on Fox News. Both were here in Indiana for the primary. Being objective, Obama came off pretty good. No major gaffs. It'll be interesting to see if he can pull off a win here. I still doubt it, but~

Posted this as a thread, but it'll disappear fast, so I wanted to make sure if Dude agreed.

There are less than eight months until the election, an election that will
decide the next President of the United States . The person elected will be
the president of all Americans, not just the Democrats or the Republicans. To
show our solidarity as Americans, let's all get together and show each other
our support for the candidate of our choice.

It's time that we all came together, Democrats and Republicans alike.

If you support the policies of John McCain, please drive with your headlights on during the day.

If you support Obama or Hillary, please drive with your headlights off at night.

Sounds reasonable to me.

It'll get interesting as now they're assocating Hillary and the 60's with what many people would consider terrorist groups and her defense of them. Is the Democrat party in a self destruct mode? crying

That makes sense. Probably why they'll never do it.. laugh But you're certainly right about off the cuff answers. It would be very telling.

I do think Obama looked bad at the last debate. He's probably best dodging them until he really has to do one. Besides, I've got his and Hillary's heathcare script memorized.

Barak said no to any more debates prior to the vote in IN and NC.
He told Mike Wallace in his interview....Wallace is using it in his
promotion of the viewing.

Dude......here is his problem now. It looks like he is running from a fight. And we are not talking a 'real fight'....but a verbal fight.

Gesh...guys.....can we hold our heads high around a woman that wants to debate us now? Barak, our guy, not taking on little old Hill.

First the R card.......now the S card. What is next? Maybe Barak could have used a second in the debate and asked Rev. Wright to step in for him? That would have been an interesting debate. Might go something like this:

Hillary: Rev Wright, so nice to have you here tonight. Now seeing that you degrade the United States, feel it caused 9/11, say that my Husband's Adminstration brought AIDs to the black community. I am going to let some of my chickens come home to roost tonight on you.

Rev Wright: Sen. Clinton, you know I am here to speak for Barak. My personal thoughts and beliefs have nothing to do with Barak. He is
a politician and will say anything to win. I am Pastor of the cloth, and my views are not the issue of debate tonight.

Hillary: Rev. Wright, what are you saying? That Barak cannot speak for himself? That you can simply separate his attending your church for 20 years and none of your sermons matters to him?

Rev. Wright: I am not going that far, Senator. I speak a mean service as you know. I am sure Barak did listen. But as we both know, he cannot say anything about them. It would be very incrimentating for him to do so.

Hillary: Yes, it would be be very incrimentating. Well Rev. tell me did you know Bill Ayers? Did he come to your services? Was he with Barak when he did?

Rev. Wright: As you know the Trinity Church is 3000 strong. Not that I have seen many men such as Bill Ayers there. So I cannot really say.
Let me ask you a question. You know I am on my media tour right now,
can you give me names of reporters I can have interviews with?

Hillary: I will send you a list of names. One final thing. When you say those things on the altar of Trinity Church. Do you think God is listening to them?

Rev. Wright: Well you know God listens to even the smallest of heart beats, Senator. I am sure he is.

Hillary: Do you think he approves them?

Rev. Wright: Sure, I got a new 10000 sg foot home for saying them.
and a $10m credit line for saying them. Seems like a approval to me.

Hillary: Well Rev. Wright, I do apprecaite the debate. I don't think that I have to go any further than that. Good night.

I am really agree there is no need for another direct duel between Hillary and Obama ...there has never been so many of those bewtween the nomination candidates from the same side you see?

It is time for direst duels between Obama and McCain and that will be juicy in deed!applause

So, If I don't believe as you believe I am incapable of making up my own mind? I don't think so Dude.

The difference between us is that I have looked extensively at the different views of the global warming issue and I find it lacking in merit. This is in part because of half assed research and scientists lack of true understanding of climate change and its causes. Then there's the issues of bias and funding for the very same scientists that are coming through with these "findings".

Yes, I am not an expert but I can read and make up my own mind based on my understanding of the issue from a variety of sources. I don't need Al Gore to show me a bunch of misleading graphs in a completely one sided documentry (the famous hockey stick graphs) to help me make up my mind. In fact, the very notion of him and his "scientists" using this form of deciet to push a dubious position only serves to discredit their point of view.

In short, I would much rather count on my own ability to reason and make decisions based on all the data I can gather rather than being spoon fed a lot of half baked horse $hit and told to believe it's oatmeal. Thanks but no thanks.

So have I sparky......

I have actually looked at the other side very well and by that i understand why we all are in danger if we listen to their bull shit.

the side I support saying We have to Care and we have to take a real responsibility and we have to accept paying pur share in order to better feauter for all human beings .....and the other side says, well, lets continue Bushney,s way and see what happens!

I want to pay my share with great honour even I like my money as well as you like yours!

Dude, you clearly have a reading comprehension problem. Did I say I wanted Hillary to win or even imply that I wanted her to? I said she made a smart move and then I called her crooked. And, did I ever mention being a Republican. The fact is and I have said this many times I am neither rep or dem and have voted both ways in the past. I simply think Clinton is crooked, Obama is all talk and very little substance and McCain, while not my favorite from the Rep side would be my choice over Clinton or Obama. I guess in your little world which seems incapable of understanding the dynamics of our political system that makes me a Republican so obviously I must be... pfffftttt.

Read Dude Read....

You Vote for McCain and that makes you a republican and thats all right as well. You are not a bad man because of that Sparky......you just dont know better!

What is all this Really? Why not just admiting and being proud of that?

For those of you saying Obama didnt want to debate Hillary:

Clinton has agreed to a debate next week, but Obama has not accepted the invitation.

At an appearance in Raleigh, North Carolina, Obama said he has a lot of campaigning to do in a limited amount of time.

Obama said he had agreed to an earlier debate, but Clinton declined that one. (now, should we flip this and say, Hillary is scared and doesnt want to debate Obama, or should we understand as adults, that both these candidates, and even McCain may be a bit busy trying to campaign and when they have time for another waste of 90minutes with reporters asking questions that dont really address america's real concerns, they will allow the media more footage to mis interpret.) "I'll be honest with you, we've now had 21," he said. "It's not as if we don't know how to do these things. I could deliver Sen. Clinton's lines; she could, I'm sure, deliver mine."

Obama said he has to look at his schedule, considering the upcoming primaries.

The two Democrats went head-to-head in a debate Wednesday night on ABC.

During the first part of that debate, the candidates largely rehashed the controversies that have marked their past six weeks on the campaign trail.

Much of the fire was leveled at Obama, who once again answered questions about controversial statements by his former pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, and his own comments that some rural Pennsylvanians are "bitter."

Obama said it took too long for them to address anything substantial.
"Last night, we set a new record, because it took us 45 minutes before we even started talking -- until we started talking about a single issue that matters to the American people," he said.

"Now, I don't blame Washington for this; that's just how Washington is. ... They like stirring up controversy; they like playing 'gotcha' games. ..

Gesh Indy......why knock out their major export? It would be like us in
Iraq to destroy oil fields and pipelines. To do what Sadam did in the first Gulf war and then in this second to do pipeline bombing to date there over 400.

I have always kind of thought for the Irianian Kut guys...pipeline operations made a lot of sense. They drive up the price of oil and
hamper the Iraqi recovery.

So let us lay of the draught beer fitting factories. Hieniken I hear needs them.
