Oh ok, but still most americans think the country is facing Recession any way when they are asked?

I hope not a real recession is going on or will happen soon. Right now the only thing McCain has suggested is taking a way gas tax which can not help much resolvong the main problems a bout the state of economy people say. I hear a lot negative stories a bout the situation of american economy all the time and reading the same as well in media........is there a chance there will be a recession soon then? Bush is a master of denying the truth so when he says there is no recession then I am most certain there is a recession going on any way , shall we trust the man then?

It is rather odd when voting machinery jams over there. The same happened in year 2000 as well several places and then it eneded as it ended at last!

I am agree Michigan is unlikely going for Hillay but still she must count on some thing mentioning Florida and Michigan again and a gain!

Oh he meant a Muffin then? Now I get it.....

I was begining to beleive he talked a bout a sweet thing as a pu....y all of a sudden

Political Analysts have pointed out that we have been in a recession before, and no one had realized it.

I do believe that the rest of the country is heading in that direction, we will see.

As far as McCain goes, taking away gas tax would help a bit. Every little thing helps a bit. Just like

every little stupid thing that they do hurts us just a bit. Positive or Negative, accumulatively has results.

That is a beautiful thought, but not part of reality. There are so many dead deer laying on the sides of the road because the population is too thick. Up north it's even worse. I would rather the deer be hunted and eaten, then getting hit by a car, crushing their bones and having them lay there until they die in agony--a lot of times, hitting a deer will kill the driver or worse. My mom had a friend who was driving down the highway. The vehicle infront of her hit a deer, the deer flew up and crashed through my mom's friend's windshield, killing her instantly....I'll never forget that....rose for the memory....

Back in Sept of 2007, Isreal had a airstrike on a Syrian facility....they called a nuclear reactor. The Syrians have said it was a 'unused military site'.

Today our intelligence people are having Congressional meetings as to what the site was. Including video tape on the facilities....yes they
are saying indeed that this is 'extremely compelling evidence' to the purpose of the site.

Also the North Koreans get mixed up in this one. Appertently one of the agreements signed there, is for a disclosure of all foreign export of technology and desgin of the North Korea reactors. And again the evidence point to this being a North Korean design facility. This Syrian site did not make on the list.......nothing like a little missing info on weapon disclosure agreements. I wonder if Sadam figured that trick out?

So with a little addition, we have the following:

2 missing Democract Senators that are running for President. 1 missing
Republican Senator that is running for President. A group of flip flop voting Senator reviewing the intelligence on this potential violation of Syria to UEAI regs and rules. 1 Isreali airstrike on the button into a unused military site that just happens to be a nuclear reactor. North Korean violation of nuclear facilities agreement with the party of 6. A covert deal between the North Korean and Syrian on a secret nuclear program. Ah to be in Washington in the spring time when the cherry blossom bloom.cheers

I just came back from making a delivery in New York and of course I had the CB (radio) on. In the Delaware area I heard an obviously black woman speaking. This is what she said as near as I can possibly tell you.
"You whities gonna feel what it's like to get put down, WE in charge now and you whities gonna be our Bitch, we gonna do things for the black folks that shoulda been done 200 years ago so shut the F___ up cracka cause we in charge now." and so on. She wasn't talking to me but to another trucker. I told her keep talkin cause the more white people who hear stuff like that, the more of them will start to think that maybe voting for a black man isn't such a good idea and they will flock to John McCain and we'll have another republican a_hole in the white house who's a carbon copy of George Bush.

I work for a black family owned trucking company and when I'm in the warehouse I am exposed to the black radio station they always have on and it seems like all they talk about is Barack Obama. Polling results show that the black community heavily (90% in some cases) favors Obama which begs some questions.
Do black people favor Obama because he's the most qualified person for the job or because he's at least half black? Also.
It isn't ok to vote AGAINST a person because of his/her race but,
Is is OK to vote FOR a person because of his/her race?

I'm afraid that this election is becoming very racially oriented and I had hoped that wouldn't happen. I also feel that it will get a lot worse with time. There's still 6.5 months before election day and I wonder just how low the dialogue will descend by then.

Good pick up, Ooby Doobie. It not all blacks by the way that have this
attitude either. But there does seem to a number today that do. The race card seem to have found a new deck to played from in this campaign season. It is sad to see happen. And I do think that you are right where the dialogue is headed.

And it said get over really trivial stuff. McCain gave a speach at a southern black community a few days ago. Attended a black church, and then did then a speach in main street. He had to leave then. He had been there 2-3 hours minimum.

A black elderly lady is connected to the local black museum asks him to visit the museum that is several blocks away. He say no, his schedule does not permit it. She is unhappy and feel slighted and sits on the pavement. It is more TV time than the speach he gave to a black community and attended thier church. And it is dramatic to see a elderly black woman sitting on the side walk in anger. Because that is what she did, to get the TV crews attention to her.

OK I am Republican and a McCain supporter. I will say that now before you get to far into the post. But is not about that. At the end you might are going to say ....that plays right into McCain's hands. It is not intended to.

But follow me some. Earlier today I was reading a local newspaper article on the 26 Florida Super Deligates of the Democratic party. Some 13 had made decisions of support on either Hillary or Obama. Some 13 were undecided. Michigan has some 20 Super Deligates as well.

What I begn to think of was this. These are all elected official or party
officials that gained their 'right' to be a Super Deligate by the people of Florida and the Democratic voters of Florida. The same group that is being denied to be sat at the DNC.

Rights are a extended thing. Specially voting rights. Example. To get the founding father's to Philadelphia, to write and approve the Constitution, they had state causcus to appoint (extended) them the role. There they met, debated and 'voted' on the various articles and terms of the Constitution. Once the document was done, they transferred (extended) that right back to the people.....the people now had the right of the 'vote' extended to them.

So with the people of Florida not having this right in DNC at this time.
How ethically can the Florida Super Deligates place thier supporting votes for one canidate or the other? Quiet a little ethical issue they have. As I thought this thru.......I also realized this.

That the super deligates of the Democract party 'all' have a ethical problem here. Those that voted and those that are uncommitted are
all using this 'right to vote' while a major groups of thier party are being denied the right or being kept from the right. That is a an ethical conflict.

Honestly, our primary system is a mess. Is needs a total structural revision and updating to see that this does not happen in the future.
There only governemnt legislation can do it.

But here I see a 'solution' to this mess of the Democracts. That all the super deligate withdrawl thier support for both canidate.....all become uncommitted. This they can do. The vote has yet to be casted. They can take control of the DNC leadership again. Resolve the Florida and Michigan issue with a inside the Super Deligate proposal and vote...of the 700. Then resubmit thier votes with MI and FL sat.

It solves thier ethical questions, it solves FL and MI seating issue, it solves party control issues, and it still give both running canidates a fair chance to gain the nomination with 'all' the Democrats of the country participlating.

Again every one will say this is coming from the McCain camp and a Republican. That they will still have the 'hostile politics' going on in the party. Very likely so on the later. This is a tight contest. Both are playing for keeps. But if you look down the road for the Democrat party after this display of Democracy in 2008, they have some real major structural problems coming for 2010 mid terms and 2012 general. Structural party problems in American politics are best solved quickly as a old poly sci instructor once said......they are the way political parties in our country fail and split.

My solution might seem strange. To withdrawl support. But in another sense that withdrawl is making a statement against the DNC for letting this happen. Like a protest vote. Realizing that the Super deligates had stepped away from the mess.....the DNC and both canidates can come to thier senses on this. See a real fracturing of the Democratic party occurring. Realize the only way to solve it, is to seat the Florida deligates and let Michigan deligate seat via caucus. JMO Dems feel free to use it if it can help. See we do care.:-)

You are right ooby, the race might have become Racial some how but be sure many voters whon not vote for Obama are doing that just because he is black and only because of that!

Many people just closing their eyes and ears for any thing just because of his colour and some black do that as well and choosing him just because they see a hope for better times if a black man will be the president at last!

If the man you are talking a bout or your self just choose not vote for Obama because of what the old lady told that day, then you are just doing it because you have been ready for that and just needed an excuse the lady gave you!

I suggest being more involved in the politics each nimonated represents, read it all and educate your self as deeply as possible and then decide whom to support. Obama is not only black or white or half white...he is a briliant politician with bright new posibilities for America. America has been hurt enough because of deviders on power in the last eight years!

Many blacks in America and specially in the last years of the Bushney,s has faced more problems in their lives and becaus eof that there might be a huge amount of frustration amoung them and some times their way of expression gets like that!

the interesting matter is I beleive.....there is a real differnet between black ways of frustration and white ways of frustration. I beleive black or coloured or any body whom meet discrimination in their daily lives and know ot from what they have bene told from their parents or grand parents generally knowing much better whom being angry at and whom they must support!

they know if Obama becomes the president the situation of discrimination will be taken care of much more serious than it has been in years. there is a real need for harder punishments a bout discrimination from white toward blacks or opposite as well and I am sure a presidnet as Obama is going to make that possible and beside there will be a lot new efforts a bout strenghten civil rights for any body whom lives in America!

Black oknow this well and most coloured ones knwoing this well and all others belonging to minorities in America knwoing that well....there is a hope toward better times in deed with Obama!

The state of the Race........

Barack Obama 1491 pledged delegates and 233 superdelegates, total number 1724

Hilalry Clinton 1333 pledged delegates and 256 superdelegates, total number 1589

Really great in deed!

Obama has just gained more superdelgates.......they "know" McCain Rather wants Hillary to fight a gainst .....as the rest of us knowing that as well! wink

Have you think a bout the only way Hillary can win a gainst Obama is if her campain or McCain folks finding a "scandal" of some kine kind a bout Obama? there is no way else what so ever to win a gainst Obama for Hillary! This means the only way Hillary can win is fighting a real dirty Carl Rove style fight with no survivors and no captives as well!

Hillary treats to wipe out a whole nation even in her campain! Gosh! Does she suffer from middel aged crisis resulted of hormunal unbalance or what? Iranian president passed some gas with out ever being able to do it or doing it at all a gainst state of Israel, shall Hillary declying to his level already or what?

God damn it if this man of honour loosing just because of another lie a gainst him or his family! moping

I sincerelly hope that majority of americans really truely taking politics seriously and being really careful now on days WHY they vote for a candidate and why not?

Fabulous posibilities to know almost any thing you wish to know a bout your candidate all over the place! READ it or if you cant read ask others to read it for you! And please......Dont vote just because you see some thing or hear some thing you think sounded bad.....think your self and find your own standing place in the politichal arena.... and dont get fooled just because some body offers you a meal or a T shirt or some thing....or if you have some inner horrible fear of some kind and thinking black and white or what my dad and my grand dad voting for bull shit....Just Think and Care a bout your own life and others lives as well ...then the final result would be all right I am certain.

Go Obama Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!cheering cheering cheering
