A Candy ass because he created a kind of real peace for some yearsa moung Palestine and Israel or because he was the real engine behind destruction of Aprtheid in South Africa or because during his time the real peace talks which ended the battle in Ireland at last became possible, or because many other positive developments in whole world he was responsible for?

It would work for sure if not ebcause of the Bushney,s and mainly because of 9/11 unfortunatily. After 9/11 a lot old anger came to surface and then all the progress were back to the very begining all of a sudden. Get real. The only reason a country like Iran will step away from nucs is because that projected power. The only reason a China does not gobble up a Tiawan is that projected power. The only reason there is not a lot more troubles in the world, is that projected power.

Chinees now on days are much concentrated in making huge amount of money and they are so rich that even the Bushney,s have began to borrow money from them to buy oil for America! I am totaly sure they dont bother taking back Taiwan by military power and they will surely do it if they want and they are not scared I am sure. Taiwan is not a real country for it self and many Taiwanees are actually going toward China friendly movements and they are really igore to get better economichal relations with their mother land , China knows it very well and as chiness always do....they are patience and know it will happen soon.

In Taiwan there is a very strong anti communism group called WACL which was made around 1966... I guess.....the group used to have a lot influence in that provins and in every thing which was decided there as well, but the amount of that influence has gone down dramatichally and now many Taiwanees want to be in peace with China and becoming one.

As a matter of fact a lot american weapon tecnology has moved to china because of the exact same reason and as more sofisticated weapons americans giving to Taiwan, as stronger China gets as result! My humble mening But I am really right a bout this one!

In the world to day money talks Indy! Red money or Blue money does not matter! Some years more then the matter is settled! China can occupiy the whole place fast easy but they dont! No need for usage of power is neccesary. It is like chinees food ! The smell and look and excitement makes you come to the restaurant any way.....there is no need for too much advertisement! I remember talking to a Navy man recently. He was assigned to a aircraft carrier. They had a China threat of Taiwan during one of his deployments. Three aircraft battle fleets made it to the area.

They would rotate one thru the sea way separating mainland China and the Island.....while the other two remained in sea in reserve.
China found that they could not take them all on. And the crisis cooled.
They likely stopped a war......just by projected power.

More often than not project power if shown in the right way.....ends with a peaceful resolution of the problem. It gives time for the diplomats to work a resolution out.
