It amazes me how many people are going to vote for a man for the leader of this country. They don't know anything about him. But they will fight for his side with great fury.............and they don't even know the mans full name.........its just Obama......what Obama......Obama what?

I am not saying i am against the man............most people don't know crap about the canidates. Ask people today about his name.......a few will know.....most won't........but lets make him pres.

I am certain people whom vote for the man know a bout the man as well. the best part of this election is that earlier people voted for a Bsuh because his dada was president as well and so on.....

Now they have a choice between a man with a military family and by that getting a president whom will no matter what thinking a bout whole American agenda as a Military assignement and militaymen on power no matter where on earth will bring the whole country under Siege no matter how they deny this.

the other choice is a bout two others....

An interesting lady whom has tins of evidences a gainst her already and cant possibly win over McCain because many americans love politichal soup opera like politichal battles and calling one the Hero and the other one for Farud!

And the other choice whom have served for years in communitiy work and beside is so obviouslt an intelligent man whom has the ability being really honest! America has actually a choice and most people know actually the matter is a bout choosing between "Honesty or fraud"! Simple choice I would suppose.

Who cares how long he spent in a church.

What matters is if he is honest, will he do what is right for the electorate and improve Americas reputation in the world should he get in.

Personally to get into politics there in the first place you need to be bought and paid for by someone.Whoever gets in will rob you blind.

I heard a statement the other day..."i wont take any money from oil companies" and i thought good, thats a revolutionary concept as its illegal for anyone to do so.Big deal.

Maybe he is unaware, and if he is he should check his facts before making stupid sound bites.

Attention to detail and honesty is the most important attribute of a leader.

So on the oil company funds was it incompetence, ignorance or political grandstanding? All three are bad in my book.

Politicians, there all as sincere as a hungry crocodile hired as a baby sitter. There only waiting till you go out before they do what they want. When you come back the dogs gone, the furniture ruined the fridge is empty and theres a huge green shit on the floor.

Pretty much the same as happens straight after the elections, worldwide, just after polling day.

Trust any one of them at your peril.

Most State legislatures are part time employment. This deal was likely set up while he was in the IL Senate and working part time for the Church. So the timing is there for him to do the work on it.

Here is the problem he has, if he did. If one considers the money donated/earned in a Church that 'hates' America.....is it then unclean and tainted money? See if he knew that the money coming into the church was 'tainted' from say.......racial hatred issues.....that makes it as such 'unclean'. As a attroney, he cannot deal in unclean money deals. That is a violation of his IL bar oath. Just like a illegal drug money deal would be. I am not saying he did these. Just an example of tainted money.

There are examples of white skin head churchs....where they determine thier money was tainted and unclean because racial
hatred. Those associated to the money.....had legal troubles. That is one of the ways they would shut them down. Thru their tainted money donations.

Real fine legal lines here........really depends on the laws of IL on definitions of unclean and tainted money. And racial hatred laws of the state. These I don't know. Combine them and he might be in legal trouble. I bet there are some Rep IL law students looking into it presently.

Wright's retirement plan might also be Obama's retirement from the
race.

Actually, he worked his way around the oil companies donations. He gets them from families employees of oil companies. That's common knowledge around here.

Oh, I don't know that we disagree...it's conceivable there's global warming. But I think it's a natural part of the evolution of the planet. I don't think what man has done in 50 years means squat when you think about the millions of years the planet has evolved. I think for mankind to be so grandious as to think we have that much control is somewhat short sited.

Yes, we have a responsibility to not intentionally pollute and waste resources... If no other reason other than economic.

I just can't resist....courtesy of Boortz rolling on the floor laughing

A DIFFERENT VIEW OF THE ELECTION

Now I don't really know where this came from, but several friends have shared it with me. This purports to be a view of the American election as reported in Dutch newspaper.

'We in Denmark cannot figure out why you are even bothering to hold an election.
On one side, you have a lawyer who is married to a lawyer, and a lawyer who is married to a lawyer.
On the other side, you have a true war hero married to a blonde with a huge chest who owns a beer distributorship.
Is there a contest here?'

Actually ... they have a point.

10000 American answered a TV poll, after the Moyer/Wright interveiw was played.

To the question: Do you feel that Rev Wright was being honest in the
interveiw?

No..................................................91%
Yes..................................................9%

See Dude? Point is this is a moderate / middle road country. Far left has a real credibility issue here. The more Obama get painted to the far left side, the more his credibility gets clobbered.

Remember, I said he needed to sever with Rev. Wright or he would pay a price in not doing so? PA showed some of this.......and there is not many here that believe in what Rev. Wright puts out there.........it does not get better.

No Thanks Dude, I'll make up my own mind. Besides, this global warming problem will come to an end right after Obama is elected so it's a moot point anyway.. laugh laugh

Maybe he can get us locked into the Keyoto protocol. That'll wake people up as soon as we start paying for everything while other countries sit on the sidelines, don't contribute and reap all the benefits for solving a problem that we don't really understand or can even prove exists in the first place.

Perhaps that's why they call it the LEFT. Because when people like Obama are running things there wont be much left. laugh

Just had my morning giggle. Not to change the topics here.....well maybe a little.

Seems the World needs more Peace Corp workers. Specially highly trained and technical ones. This in turn reminded me of a Tom Hank
/John Candy movie.....one of Hanks first and was a comedy.....about a
Peace Corp team sent to SE Asia. All are in thier mid-late 20s here.

Hanks was the team leader and without a project.....Candy was the
CIA inflitrate to get the intel on the local commie revolutionaries. Gee, I not sure if I tell the rest of the story tomorrow European Tabloids
will be running headline......Peace Corp Tool of the CIA.:-)

What the heck, I live dangerously. Story line of the movie was this.....the first thing Hank has done in the this remote village in the jungle...is have a bar set up over looking the river. A near college student does have his priorities. Candy begins to creep out in the jungle to make contact with the baddies. Now on the far side of the river....there is nothing....only jungle and the baddies.

So what does Hanks decide his Peace Corp mission to be? Build a bridge to the far of the river. He get the local village leaders to buy into this saying it will bring a 'economic boom' to the community and they will be able to cross the river easier with the bridge than with out one. So they begin to build a bridge.

Of course the baddies here word that a bridge is being built to thier side of the river......which means government troops can come over it
and ruin thier day. And Candy begins to recruit his local forces. And he contacts the local gov't military commander to tell him....that soon you will have a bridge to cross the river to get the baddies.

All the time, Hanks is flirting the attractive Peace Corp coworker, in the bar overlooking the river and building his bridge. The big day comes when they are going to have the ribbon cutting ceremonies in the middle of the bridge. Entire village is on the bridge......and the ribbon is to cut.....they look up........ on one end the bridge are the baddies....and on the other side the gov't troops. With the entire village in the middle on the bridge.

At this point, Hanks gets use his college trained (English Degree) neogiations skills to diffuse the situation. Which he does. End scene of the movie was the Peace Corp team on a plane headed home. Hanks got the girl in the end. The bridge remained standing. Candy was left in the jungle to hunt baddies. Village took over the bar and expanded it into a restraunt. Gov't troop and Baddies would come across the bridge to have drinks and food at the restraunt. The village had a economic boom.

Just to get back on topic.

If Barak gets elected......he should have a large number of Peace Corp volunteers from his youth movement. Average age of our Peace Corp
is 26. The problem is Peace Corp is moving into the HIV/AID and the need is for high trained specialist in the field. Not sure you are going to get many DR. and medical specialists to leave the US to go into a remote area to practice thier skill there.....in a unstable world. Hope is
the retiring baby boomers will do it. Unless you have the medical facilities....labs and clinic up.....again does not sound viable to me.

Anjel, if I understand the original and basic concept of procreation correctly, there would be few woman around without the male

I do realize that in modern time this concept has been technologically
advanced, so is not a requirement today. But if you go back in
history.......you needed two to make the 6 billion, we have here today.

(exactly my point Tom, you needed a man and woman to make Indy)

With 51% of the 6 billion being women and only 49% being men.
Men are the minority. Women the majority. My question is.....why have not the majority done a better job at running the world? (ala Rev. Wright tactics)

Applying Rev. Wright's theology here. Women have brought us 9/11.....aids......KKK.....a disfunctional American society.....
policies in middle east that brought about terrorism and wars. Hey, you gals are the majority. Does not sound to me that you are doing a very good job at running things. The buck stops with the majority.
(I don't agree with all his tactics, if you read one of the obama threads a while back, you'll see a fiew of my views on Rev. Wright, you'll see that I said, I dont agree with all that he has to say. However Tom, I see that by you quoting him, you do. This is good to know.)

You say those are unfounded claims and total distortions (when did I say this?). When you ladies got empowered with the vote and with women's liberation...and became this majority...seems to me that you also got to take blame when something goes wrong. Seems like a lot has gone wrong. (http://quickfacts.census.gov/qfd/states/00000.html pointl according to this, women dont make up the majority of the workforce hun, men do, and, if YOU want to point fingures at who is running things, this info will better direct you. I am fine eitherway, no matter who is running what.)
You say we were not doing this. We did not have a woman in the Presidency....a man was there. (ok, I must ask you, when did we have this argument? I dont remember saying these things, and I think you have me confused with someone else, eitherway, one thing is for sure, even with all of this, you, Tom, would NOT be here if it were not for your MOTHER and FATHER, and with that, my vote isnt for a women president, at least not the woman who is running now, it is for Obama, although, I think a woman could do the job just as effectively as a man. JMO. And speaking for my self, I LOVE men.)
