theorizing about each step of the relationship is a mistake. It brings tension hence lack of spontaneity that can extend to bed performance.

Oh that was not the question..

If we start losing sex appeal, it's a problem...
If we start losing communication it's a problem...

We need both

Heyu there Chris...

wave

Agreed.

Althoug I do believe, sex IS communication. Possibly in the raw basic level, but that's what it's all about I guess.

One can. Buy I mean....

Not for me however....never did, never will. I would find it humiliating.

Having said that, again talking from the history of my past, it is funny how sex can be the factor of communication between two people.

Maybe it's because of having been involved directly with holiday people for a long time.....but there were occasions that you spend ten/fifteen days with somebody without ever to get to know thier names....

That sort of communication.....

cool

there's a song by Guess Who/American Woman.....

American woman gonna mess your mind
American woman, she gonna mess your mind
American woman gonna mess your mind
American woman gonna mess your mind
Say A,
Say M,
Say E,
Say R,
Say I,
C,
Say A,
N,
American woman gonna mess your mind
American woman gonna mess your mind
American woman gonna mess your mind

American woman, stay away from me
American woman, mama let me be
Don’t come hangin’ around my door
I don’t wanna see your face no more
I got more important things to do
Than spend my time growin’ old with you
Now woman, I said stay away,
American woman, listen what I say.

American woman, get away from me
American woman, mama let me be
Don’t come knockin’ around my door
Don’t wanna see your shadow no more
Coloured lights can hypnotize
Sparkle someone else’s eyes
Now woman, I said get away
American woman, listen what I say.

American woman, said get away
American woman, listen what I say
Don’t come hangin’ around my door
Don’t wanna see your face no more
I don’t need your war machines
I don’t need your ghetto scenes
Coloured lights can hypnotize
Sparkle someone else’s eyes
Now woman, get away from me
American woman, mama let me be.

Go, gotta get away, gotta get away
Now go go go
Gonna leave you, woman
Gonna leave you, woman
Bye-bye
Bye-bye
Bye-bye
Bye-bye
You’re no good for me
I’m no good for you
Gonna look you right in the eye.
Tell you what I’m gonna do
You know I’m gonna leave
You know I’m gonna go
You know I’m gonna leave
You know I’m gonna go, woman
I’m gonna leave, woman
Goodbye, American woman

you'd never get over me once you had a taste of what a real American woman is like........giggle

Wouldn't generalise my views though...

grin

Found out a long time ago I think and am slightly different from the norm as far as males are concerned....don't really know how.

Maybe that is why nearly all my close friends are female.

I was wondering since communication and enjoying spending time together among other things are all part of a healthy relationship is sex part of that to cause some people want to wait until they get married to have sex, so does that mean that they aren't in a healthy relationship if they aren't havening sex also does sex really matter in a relationship or is it just for fun ands another way to connect? thanks

Gotta say straight up YES...SEX IS PART OF A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP.....if you are not sexing in a relationship, then something is fucked up...end of story.

[quote=solitare]Oh, what the hell, I'll play the 'devil's advocate here; Sex ruins a good healthy relationship, as it is personality oriented. Sex comes in and it devolves into a simple obsession of recreational genital sessions of nothing but sex, sex and more sex and the personalities drift further and further apart.
Apologies for the brevity but I have a rather tawdry pressing navel engagement to steer towards...%D[

Sex, when free from all the manipulation is one of the healthiest, most pleasurable things we share with another person.

Society and religion have taken a natural and beautiful act and twisted it into something perverse and wrong. Some women use it as a tool to get things that they desire... security, affection, marriage. Some men feel powerful by taking what isn't freely given, either by force or manipulation.

The act of sex is something that is meant to be shared not given or taken and I think one of the most enjoyable means of expressing desire, love, caring, pleasure and simple joy of being alive.

I missed this quote earlier....well spoken dear.....I would not say Swedish society though....easily the most liberal countries in the world when it comes to sexing....sex here is like having a cup of coffee
