I don't have any real updates yet....Just that several more Mohawk people have arrived at the quarry to help the ones that are there from the communities of Six Nations and Kanewake. The police at this time are trying to remove them from the quarry which is Mohawk Land and they are not leaving, so there is the potential for them to be forcefully removed by the O.P.P. Riot Quad.....

And I'd bet that the OPP just can't wait to do that and if the 'heathen savages' dare to defend themselves, the OPP can always call in air strikes...there really should be UN observers at these confrontations . Hopefully the natives have cam corders...

Well it seems to me that they have set up this tinder box and are hoping it explodes yes.....I'm not sure if they have camcorders on the inside or not...that was one of my recommendations...I know they had someone on the outside taping.....Well airstrikes might cause too much damage to the non-natives around the town...better to isolate and asassinate instead.....Nobody can observe unless on the inside the police have both ends of Deseronto blocked off now....so nobody can get near the place just to look on....

Well to be honest I don't know what the OPP have to do with this stuff, Native issues are a federal matter, the province has no jurisdiction in these matters. Having said that there is plenty of blame to be shared with native land issues.

It's their jurisdiction where the land in question is located....this is at the orders of McGuinty to boot...He wants them out of there apparently at any and all expense....there was 20 protesters with 150 armed O.P.P. and 600 on standby if that tells you anything...Not sure how many protesters there are now cause people from other communities have shown up at the site.....

Funny how the name Mike Harris comes to mind......If McGuinty is going to use his plan, things are really going to go down hill fast.

Frustrated people and nervous cops are a bad combo regardless of the numbers involved. Let's just hope cooler heads prevail. I would hate to see anyone from either side of this issue get hurt.
