His name is Joe,I was taking a trip friday out of town.I stopped in a convience store.I had $100 to take with me in cash.I pulled out a1.00 to pay for something and dropped the 5 20s folded together.I didnt discover it was gone untill I was half way to my destination. My g-daughter called the store and nothing was found.I just said to myself please God let whoever found it to really need it.I came home Sunday, and today (mon) got the surprise of my life.My g-son walked in and had my money.Joe had returned it to him.We gave him 10 and he didnt want to take that.Tk God for honest people. applause

A couple of years ago i found a guys wallet as he jumped on a bus to Stansted Airport. This wallet had all the guys money in and he was clealy going abroad, it also had his airline tickets sticking out of it.

I ran into the office, got someone to radio his transprt to tell they guy and arranged for the wallet to be handed to him within the hour.

Guess what? The ignorant bastard didn't even say thank you.Sadly this does damage your faith in doing the right thing.

Absolute true story from June a couple of years ago.

I was visiting the seaside at a festival, while taking a rest from business a few years back, when I lost my purse. I had photos in it but no address and also had £700 in it as well, payment for some work I had done. I didn't discover the loss until I got home later that night.

I asked around but no luck. Then a few days later my sister phoned and said that a local hotel manager had phoned her, knowing that she was my sister, and asking her to pass on the message that someone had handed in my purse to them and wanted no reward.

I went there and picked it up and not one penny was missing. I would have loved to have thanked them but no one knew who the person was.

I like reading the feel good threads. I lost my wallet this winter, and to make a long story short, it came back into my hands with all the money and credit cards....even condoms that was there when I lost it.

when I was moved to Calgary, years ago, I was on nearly out of money and no job. I decided to cheer myself up with a day of skiing,. Stopping at one of the bars, half way down the mountain,I gave the bar tender a 20.00 for my tab. She gave me change for a 100.00 I was quite happy about this. I sat for a while, thinking of my predicament and how this extra cash would help me.
Having worked in the bars, the thought of this girl having to pay for it at the end of the day, it placed great great strain on my charachter. I knew I had no place to stay and didn't know what I would be eating tomorrow. I wasn't even sure if I had enough gas to get out of the parking lot. The thought of having to live with myself after committing this terrible act was to great. I quickly returned the money and got a kiss for it. I was walking on air the rest of the day. I do believe that honesty is the best policy and the only way to treat your fellow human being. dancing
