I have been separated for a year. This happened to me a couple of weeks ago. It has stirred up a whole mess of shit. It was not a good idea. I didn't think I had any feelings for her anymore. Seems like I did. Since then ,The feelings keep changing though, and are evolving back to the way it was before I made that mistake. I think mostly what it is, is that I suddenly remembered what it was like to be in a great relationship and how alone I am some times. It was great sex and I know I will cherish the memory some day. It was however, not the great emotional unity it was.
Live and learn. D'oh!

Yes you have to remember why you are not together now rather than foucsing on the way it was...can get emotionally confusing..once apart...put nothing flesh between you..only distance..

9 out of 10 times that people have sex with their ex is because they had just been dumped by someone new that they really liked! It's kinda like girls going on a chocolate binge after a break-up, you know it's so wrong but you do it anyway for the immediate comfort...sigh sigh sigh

I would not want to give him the benefit of that ever; he is not worthy.
