700+ miles away....we did the long distance thing (both visiting the other). It lasted for 2 years and I couldn't move and he refused to move so poof....it was over.

I do not know what to write in regards to the whole date thing. Those who had come from afar had already met me until I came to CS. I met a beautiful Englishwoman from Chapel En Le Frith England in 1990 and we travelled back and forth in that romantic interlude. In 1999, I met an amazing woman from Budapest who came to live with me for six months until my job to me elsewhere and her job did too. On both occassions, we had already met, so I did not see it as dating, but rather living...

As for meeting someone from CS, I have had two visitors.....

I had a lady of amazing qualities from Stasbourg come to see me twice here in Ottawa and a sweet soul of a school teacher who came to meet me from Florida...

Not sure how far a lady has come to me,,, Well Houston to Nacogdoches, But I do remember dating this gorgeous farm girl in college. Her sorority was two blocks from my frat, and we dated long enough for me to pick her up from her real home one night. I left college and drove over 250 miles to see her. We could have waited 2 days and seen each other 2 blocks away, but no we couldn't wait, or it was the weekend or I just wanted her kiss? I had a two tone light blue ElCamino with fat racing tires and it ate gas but I was in love.
