Several men I've become acquainted with here lied about their age and still have a lower age on their profiles. I say it's wrong to lie about anything...what's the point? If you get involved it may take you down in the eyes of a person who you want to admire you.dunno

I lied to one ex about my age... was hardly worth it cause it was only two years and I don't look my age.. I did it cause I was paranoid that he would run for the hills if he knew I was 33 (couple of years ago).. so I said I was 31 laugh... was caught rotten too.. when I bumped into a mate of mine in Galway.. she was going on about her own age (32 at the time) and rubbing it in that I was a year older.. laugh... OMG it is sooo not worth lying.. cause when you get caught out... and u will professor you just want the ground to open up... laugh

I think the best strategy... for a girl anyway is just reserve our right not to tell laugh.... my mother did it for years.... it was a real mystery in our house and my Dad was sworn to secrecy laugh.... at the end of the day I don't act, look or feel my age anyway grin

It would change my opinion of them, only cuz a lie is a lie. Doesn't really start a good foundation for a relationship, if they lie about something so minor as their age...makes me wonder what major things they may lie about.
Not sure its a reason I would end the relationship for; however, am sure I would start investigating more on what other things they've said to check if other info is accurate.

Hi everyone!handshake I am new to this but this touched a soft spot to me so I wanted to post something.

I believe that you could never really believe what they tell you again. My grandmother had a saying " if a person will lie, then the person will steal" she felt, as I do, that lie is like stealing of beliefs.
