When do we learn ?

What does one do when someone walks into your life, that turns you on, has many attributes, yet many negatives as well ? Especially when you've been in the desert without water for a long time. You measure the situation, you come up with the answer, "No". Passion gets in the way. Need and desire clouds logic.

How fast can you get from 0 to hurt ?

Very fast, in an instant!
But if you won't risk, you won't win!
And you might find out you actually like the " negatives" you see now...or they might not be negatives any more!
I hope you enjoy the experience!

I was alone and made friends with it. Then someone entered my life and is now disturbing that peace.

Leo.... I say give it a chance and don't be afraid... we ALL have negatives... if you connect with someone.. on any level.. sound it out!!!... don't venture the physical until you have spent some time with them... ya never know.. maybe when you weigh the positive/negative balance you might end up with some credit in the account... all I know is you can't go through life expecting a person to have NO negatives.. if that were the case... I'm doomed laugh

Helloo Morgan hug

Yeah I lived with that view for yeeears. it IS easier.

I used to sit and watch my friends relationships.. . I'd watch them bickering and NOT having fun together when we were all out somewhere or whatever.. and I'd think.. PHEW!... it's not ME going throo all that crap.

me and my Chinese are going home to watch CSI. laugh

Being single and unfeeling .. IS much easier. IMO.

that's my point, i have lived here 18 months alone and felt relatively content, not in a selfish way. Let someone in begin to trust and then it's abused, is it worth it? or does there become a time when you really can't take it anymore ?

I know what you mean, I am quite the same lately....but i am working on changing and trying....i don't want to loose the chance by not knowing.....many times we're terrified when starting a relationship but allow yourself to enjoy it and get to know the person next to you with acceptance.
Open and you will receive!rolling eyes
