I feel like life is comprised of electromagnetic energy of some sort. Energy is neither created nor destroyed, right? So when you die, that energy that created you and kept you alive obviously has to leave your body, because energy doesn't just cease to exist.... it has to go somewhere. I' willing to bet our atmosphere is filled to the brim with the energy of life, and when we die that just releases into the atmosphere to help create other life, but I don't believe in reincarnation or rebirth. Just energy. That's as far as I've gotten into my thoughts of the afterlife. I like to believe that when I die, I just die, and that's it. I feel like the idea of an afterlife was created because people are afraid to just die and nothing else. For whatever reason, I'm just not afraid of that. The idea of "Heaven" does not sound appealing to me, perfection is not something I would ever want. Can you imagine everything being perfect forever? Sounds kind of lame. I'd need a change of scenery after a while. And Hell... well.... suffering you eventually get used to. Plus according to Christianity me, dolphins, pigs, chinchillas, and all of my family, friends, and everyone I know are going to be there so.... it's a party!
