Alabama. But I do have to go through there to go to Florida.

The last time I went and we stopped in Alabama, at a Pizza Hut, to eat dinner. This lady kept staring at me and was talking about me. Most of the folks in there was whispering things about me and such. Even the waitress was rude. She kind of slammed down our pizza on the table. When the other lady left with her family you took one last look back at me when she went to the door...SHEESH!! I'm never stopping in Alabama again...People are freakin' rude!!

Morrocco is hell beautiful..so old world mixed with new..I just love suuks..(markets) persian rugs..the smell of falafel etc.
The flamingoes were incredible..Getting around on a bike is the best way..
Pakistan is geographically beautiful..Tanzia..Lebanon..Syria and Jordan...I did some travelling along the border of Pakistan with a guide and mule but it can be quite dangerous in places with taliban and the weather harsh...
Perhaps Hong Kong is better for you and yes the food is the best!!! I agree on that one..I miss it often and go into chinatown here to visit one of those small cafes with ducks and pigs hanging in the window..Smells like an outhouse but the meal is worth enduring it..

Palestine was work..6 months of hell...I find it pointless to go back now..new visions and horizons await...
I would love to travel through Russia....but I hate the cold..

Dear Zarah,Thanks a lot for liking my country. You are most wellcome again.Dont be afraid of Taliban. Most muslims are friendly.blushing

If I had not seen you around before I would have seen it as an insult, but now it was a plain funny remark

The airports of Moscow and Taipei in 1993.

Both have now changed, so well, I need not return, but what a mental abuse it was.

Moscow:

Arrive 3 am or something. All empty except for tired travellers from the same plane waiting for the next.

One small cafe boot where the coffee was TERRIBLE (me like coffee strong, yeah!)

A slot machine where I could only play with tokens - but to the positive, I got jackpot, it paid half my flight. Still I would not want to return.

Taiwan:

It is simply to be locked in to a big room, all made up in fake wood boards, even the modern SONY TV in the front centre was dressed in those boards by some reason.

Silent, no shops nothing. (Technical landing).

Except for those two, I only have reasons to go back again to all places I've been.

From the book of Genesis:

"So God blessed the seventh day and hallowed it, because on it God rested from all his work which he had done in creation."

Well, that is not exactly true you see god realized that there would be so much crap in the world that it badly needed an outlet so to speak, a rectum as it were, and so early on the seventh day while everybody was still sleeping, he took a ball of clay (there was lots of clay just laying about back then) and fashioned an asshole and located it in what today is called Brooklyn New York, and he named it Flatbush Avenue. And it was good.

"South America was amazing -- great people, good food, extremely affordable. The Amazon was hotter than hell but you had the rains every day and the wind as you sailed downriver with the dolphins (yes, there are dolphins in the Amazon)."
thumbs up
