The airports of Moscow and Taipei in 1993.
Both have now changed, so well, I need not return, but what a mental abuse it was.
Moscow:
Arrive 3 am or something. All empty except for tired travellers from the same plane waiting for the next.
One small cafe boot where the coffee was TERRIBLE (me like coffee strong, yeah!)
A slot machine where I could only play with tokens - but to the positive, I got jackpot, it paid half my flight. Still I would not want to return.
Taiwan:
It is simply to be locked in to a big room, all made up in fake wood boards, even the modern SONY TV in the front centre was dressed in those boards by some reason.
Silent, no shops nothing. (Technical landing).
Except for those two, I only have reasons to go back again to all places I've been.
