guess if you've just come out of a bad experience that may effect how we respond for a while, but deep down still have hope.

Seriously though ship I see alot of both genders here are still really angry over their past hurt and seem to have formed an opinion of the opposite sex in general...It appears the worse time for them to even consider any relationship...They need to have one with themselves first..

In an ideal world your right, but think it may depend on why you broke up, how it was handled, hurt is a powerful emotion and not very rational

Those that are the most spiteful are usually the ones that have the lowest opinion of themselves...

Hi Morgan..I fine a man/woman treats another the way they were recently hurt in their other relationship..Its hard on the person they start a relationship with..always comparing..or saying she/he did that to me...its so hard to trust again after being treated badly in the past..and its not fair to the one you are having relations with...

It is rather strange. I guess some people can not get rid of the pain that the other gender has caused them. Too bad. You are only going to get love if you put out love. I have baggage but decided to empty the luggage and throw the bags in a closet.dancing feeling good

Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else..... you are the one getting burned....but it is often hard for someone to realise their own behaviour when they are caught up in their negative emotions..Quite often they have become finger pointers and blamers...I guess at some time in relationships we have all been guilty of it..never fully realising our own actions that have caused a reaction..
You must reach a point though where you sit down...look at yourself and say...well feck..why have I been single forever and every relationship seems to end with the same consequences..

I could be wrong but it seems like a lot of woman go for the guys that treat them badly. It seems that nice guys really do finish last.
