I've never lived with a girlfriend before, just room mates.
I've been living by myself for the last four years and I kinda like it but if someone I really liked came along I'd be willing to give it a try.grin

Just don't want to hear any whining about the toilet seat.scold

Many people choose to live alone because they want to feel unlimited freedom. Living alone is more enjoyable than living with someone else. What do you think?
For me living alone might be enjoyable but it is not more enjoyable than living with someone else or with family, not only because of needs but also because of sharing our feelings and experience.

Happily alone suits just wonderfully at this moment in time, been and done the living with someone unhappily and that can be 20 times more lonely than any low moment I've ever had while actually being alone.

With the right person I'd give it another whirl, till or if that ever happens life's just fine and dandy as it is.

They had their own place and we'd spend time at each other's home, but it never got to that point of moving in together. dunno

Don't see the point in living with someone unless there's at least a chance of it being long term. It was discussed and we agreed that it probably wasn't a good idea at the time. Funny, we're still in agreement!laugh
We do get along well though, as I do with every one I've ever dated. No animosities whatsoever although I still find it wierd that one left me for a woman.rolling on the floor laughing

Ello hug cheers kiss

Had a battle with the tree in the front garden, on Saturday it won and wiped out the phone cable, my revenge came Sunday when the middle of the tree got chainsawed angel

Still, on the bright side I can heartily recommend,

The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, Fine gritty film, and well worth the watch

Control, The Story of Ian Curtis, Wonderful acting, really convincing, and a heartbreaking tale.

Shrek 3, On a par with the previous films thumbs up

Before the Devil knows your Dead.... Dullest....

The Mist, Fine horror it came from the fog/mist stylee romp...

Micheal Clayton, Not bad at all.

Sweeny Todd, Pretty good for a musical and oddles of Blood

grin

If it's a choice between living with someone I love or living alone then I'd choose someone I love, but when it comes to family or friends I'd much rather live by myself. I find a lot of family/friends untrustworthy and I don't like to worry. Plus I'm somewhat of a loner, by choice. Being alone is nice, and sometimes I just need to be able to have somewhere secure where I can be alone. If I don't want to be alone then I can just invite people over. I like having the freedom to choose. I live with a roommate now and lemme tell ya, it's a bit rough.
