hi dragonkeeperz !
i'm glad you feel that way because thats whats happening in africa right now !..
AFRICAN PEOPLE ARE BANNED FROM MAKING FILMS BY THEIR OWN GOVERNMENTS IN PLACES LIKE ZIMBAWAE!
how many films have you been able to see about whats really going on over there ( made by independant zimbawaian filmmakers expousing the government )!
how many films have you been able to about whats really going on in burma made by burmese filmmakers expousing the burmese government ?
i mert a burmese girl recently that was telling me some of the shocking things going on in burma that people are not even allowed to talk about much less make films about !
if you look at the regimes in some of these countries the corrupted governments and their families have got a finger in every pie ( especially in the film and media industry ) !
so even if you were lucky enough to make a great film to "show the world "
you would'nt get it distributed from over there !..and can be guaranteed
you'd have to leave the country, go into exile, and fear for your life whilst you're living abroad to be able to do something like that !
there's lots to talk about if you really want to talk about it !
