I did not think about it until yesterday. Does anyone have any thoughts as to why woman vote on woman pics if they are not interested in them or men vote on the men pics? Even the age does not matter, some people must be really bored to scan the site for the same sex if they are not gay or lesbian or bi. What is up with that?

women are afforded the luxury of complimenting each other...whereas it is not acceptable for men. I am secure enough in my sexuality, I have no problem complimenting another man. But they don't want to hear it.

I think it's great that women have that qualitycheering

I agree with you all but still I cannot help but feel like, some of it is competition. I saw a beautiful pic of a father and his son and another of his daughter and I noticed how the woman were touched by it and gave a higher rating and the men all gave the pics a low rating. So what do you think. Are guys looking at it differently? I see pretty woman too, it is not what I make a point of searching for.

This is a big site with a diverse range of people so you are going to get the jealous types, the assholes, the smartasses, and the lovely ones.

Personally I don't get into the rating thing and have mine switched off.
To judge someone by their looks is shallow in my opinion.

Exatly; well said. Especially in North America. Men can compliment other men without a second thought in the rest of the world with no problem.
