Has the art of courting become to commercial?

Look just enroll in Jedi school, and attend long enough to learn the mind trick.

Then all you gotta do is wave your hand, then say, "You do not have a boy friend. You find me terribly irresistable. You want my number, so you can take me on a date."

Seriously....it works.

Why does it seem to be that "gifts" are so important?
What about the gift of time?
Isn't that just as important or even moreso?

Time is the greatest gift of all. But it is the least respected.

Has today's courting process become to commercialised?

I think somehow we have forgotten how to meet people. We are more mobile now than ever and we see more people in our day than ever before. Yet for some reason many don’t seam to have the skills to connect. They instead sit behind this impersonal computer and vest there hopes in a website like this. It is easier to say what you want here I guess.
But as for finding dates and such, I for one prefer the everyday world over the net 10 to 1. Call me old fashion but I still like to look someone in the eyes and ask for there name and number. In fact I have much better luck that way.
