because i have been warned by some people here that they will report me each time i post in a thread that is past the first page

as they are many people i am afraid i will be banned from the forums

remeber, mayority rules, it is not about being fair or not

if too many people complain about some one he wil be banned from the forums

that is only a fantasy

i expected than in a dating site, people would be more interesting in building bridges of comunications than actually be yelling their discrepancies

but it seems i am wrong and naive

My comment wasn't just meant for the forums it was meant for people in general.

we need all these fantasies, Alex, even with the risk of being wrong and naive.....one can never know when they will come true someday but if we don't have them, it means we give up right from the start

real life and forums are diferent
in real life most of the times we talk to people we have to share sometihng with them (call it work, being in the same line, etc)
we try to be more polite and althought each one will try to push his own view point, they also listen (no too much but they listen)

in real life if some one from the other booth in the restaurant hear you saying something they dont agree, they do not stan up and start yelling at you your disagreement
they do not threatened to call the police because you dont agree with them

in the forums things are diferent, i will say exactly the oposite
people jumping to threads only to say they disagree
people threatening to report yu for having a diferent view point

while it shuld be the other way around
people that claim they are in a dating site, are the ones that have to be more interested in building bridges of comunications, at least they should be more interested than strangers

my point was that i belived that in a dating site people will try to comunicate as comunication is one of the key ngridients for a loving relationship

but i might be wrong, and comunication is not important in a relationship

In the real world you're normally face to face with the person you're having discussions with so you can see the expression on their faces.

As we both know when you read someones typing it can sure can be hard at times to really tell what they really mean in their words.I think that's why there's so many misunderstandings on sites like these and other sites as well.

Alex I believe respect, friendship and communtication is so important in a relationship or the relationship was nothing to begin with.

I find the same with SMS (text) Messages... its very easy to get the wrong impression, or exactly what the sender or poster means

as regards real life and life in the forums.....i don't know what to say about it! i am quite confused.....all i know is on the forums people are too nervous, they take almost anything as an offence , they are being rude sometimes (maybe coz they are having a bad day? ) BUT what bothers me more is i CARE about all these people, even if i don't agree with their behaviour sometimes....
let's take the last example:) The trublu girl (hope she won't read what i am going to write in here hahaha)...she offended 2 or 3 guys that i value a lot but in the same time i DO like her ( don't ask me why,i just like her though i haven't even read her threads coz they seemed to me soo long she would be great if she concentrated her msg in a shorter amount of lines ) and i have no idea what attitude to take I don't want to be taken as a traitor, nor as a favorite who is quickly hiding when the battle starts hahaha

i wish so much we all could get along somehow these forums teach me the chaos is everywhere, here or in real life....the same BS and they also teach me there are great ppl too who make this chaos easy to live in
