Whether it be alcohol, prescription pain killers, weed, speed, barbiturates....etc ? I don't expect many answers to this thread, yet It would be nice to see the human condition admitted to.

If you don't know me by now, alcohol is my burden. My doctor recently introduced me to Oxycodone, bad mix.

What the hell, we'll never meet anyway.

Not me. But I can say that I took some powerful bong rips in my twenties. Was not a problem, more of a social thing.

I am addicted to coffee and Swedish snus(snuf). Much better than Skoal. And Swedish coffee kicks ass....

my drug problem is that marijuana is not a legal drug.

marijuana should be legal, it's way better than pills.

I support norml

I used to have a drug problem 21 years ago. I had an alcohol problem and fixed that going on 6 years ago...Then I realized it was just a problem with always wanting more...Now I try to think of more constructive uses for more...Whether I have the ability to apply those uses is a different story though rolling eyes

The brand I use is called Göteborgs Rape....really hard to quit. Gives me a great quick...especially with coffee.

Illegal. And it is really frowned upon for social use...except among the younger generation. Everybody here smokes hasch. I can't stand it cause it is mixed in with tobacco. And I hate tobacco as far as smoking goes. The taste is just a killer.
Can't wait till I get back home to California for a visit. Good herbal green does no harm for me here and there.

I'm no doctor but I heard that Oxycodone is bad news, I don't know if you drink every day but if you do that isn't good either, but if it's once or twice a week I would think it"s not so bad, your body can rest...I drink to get drunk but not that much, maybe once or twice a month if that much, but like I said, I drunk to get drunk.....

Life in general...It's about taking care of the addictions first and foremost, then everything else tends to fall in place. It's a matter of mind set. If we become happier due to truly experiencing life we start to see small changes in what's around us.

Nothing changes if nothing changeshug

you already know where i stand paws

over 15 yrs clean and sober
we've discussed things

you dont have to accept it from your doctor

i did my entire injury eriod w/o "drugs"
except during surgery/hospital stay.

read up on oxy-instantly addictive.
but well-i guess thats a choice.

one thing i have learned-alcohol (or whatever)
isnt the problem-
its a symptom...

its like anything in life-addressing the cause gets results

you know i love you.

E.

I smoke way too much and drink enough strong coffee to leave your average human vibrating for a week.
Beer, Aussie or Italian wine and the odd shot of whiskey or cocktail is nice too but I wouldn't say an addiction by any means.
Fine combustibles were great at one time but find them to be a bit much nowadays. Maybe a couple times a year just to remember what paranoia is like.
The rest I never enjoyed or touched other than 100's of hits of acid but that was over a dozen years ago. Don't want to go there again. Getting lost in the deep recesses of one's own mind can be a lonely and scary experience.
uh oh!
