I just checked that song out on youtube by the Carpenters, it touched my heart to see her singing that song, most of her songs were sad, I wounder if it was a reflection of her life..when her and her brother started out she played the drums(really good)but they made her stand to sing and not play drums and I think she was feeling uneasy with that, they should have kept her on the drums...I wish I was into them when they first started...

Yeah I like that song..

one of my friends had it played at their funeral.. (he had AIDS).. it was sooo sad..

Great singer wasn't she.. I like the Carpenters.

Thats touching, sorry for the loss....she was a great singer, I guess what I was trying to say was even with her success and fame she seemed unhappy in love,I guess love is really stronger then I think.

Yep I agree... she always looked like there was a lot more going on in there.

Yep she is.. but like many a famous painter.. it's a shame she isn't around to see/feel it.
