I feel the same way, Joanne. I once read an article before mothers day that inspired me to write my mom. I have some health problems and this article was about mothering a special needs child. So I wrote mom and told her how special she was for all she'd done for me. Then my moms mother died. I was worried about the timing of the letter. Mom received it when she got home from her mothers funeral.

I found that letter in my moms lockbox when she died.
