To Dude,
Politics is like a tabloid magazine. If it is sleazy and low...specially
if it on the other guy or his party it is fair game. Of course if it is on Obama.....the man that was raised with milk and honey as a pure lamb in the ugly world of American politics.....then it is a different matter. Then it is racism.
So in Dude's world of politics......he can either call you low and sleazy or he can call you a racist. This is the game that the far left has been
playing since the campaign began.
While Obama may want to talk issues in a serious note. His supporters
wish to play the game in the mud. Meaning that they don't have good issues and solid facts to them or that is basically where they are in life.
Too them real issues like the economy, like the Iraq war, like oil prices, like pro life, like the deterance of terrorism, like global matters of importance, are basically matters that can be solved in the mud. Thier idea of spirituality and the higher purposes of man....can be found in their recent treatment of Jenna Bush's marriage on Kos. Where someone posted her wedding photos along side brutal photos of the Iraq war. This what they consider 'fair political play'.
The recent vote in WV maybe is a wake up call for the far left. In the post vote polls, the issue of race effected the vote of 29% of the
mostly white voters of the state. 30% of the Democratic voters said they would vote for McCain and another 35% said they would consider it. Sure while WV is a small sample of America.....it is the most recent
sampling to this campain. How many supporters of Barak in past primaries would still hold to him in the fall? When the far left has played its American politics in such a manner? My bet is that WV is a good indication here.
If Barak fails in his attempt for the Presidency with the amount of voting support he had at the beginning of the primaries. It can be for only one reason.
The American voter did not like who he was associating with and did not like the kind of change and hope the far left was offering by his Presdiency. Barak may not have this distrust, hatred, sleazy and unkind of politics in him. But his supporters do.
The American voter knows that when they elect a President, they also place into office, men and women of his association and choosing to run thier government and its agencies. In this case those offices will be held by persons with far left leanings, this general dislike and disregard for America and what it is.
If Barak loses, it will because the far left has brought him down to thier level of politics, to thier thinking of the American life and dream,
to thier opinion of thier fellow Americans. The sooner he disassociates... if he can with the far left.....the better his chances to win the Presidency are....in my opinion his only real chance to win the Presidency is with this disassociation.
The sad thing is that the Far left, like Dude, don't realize that they are
doing it to him. To them posting Jenna Bush wedding photos in such a
manner is just making political comment. That it does. But it makes several comments.....one on the war in Iraq, the means spirit of Barak's supporters, and kind of wedding the Bush's would have for thier daughter.....it makes all those comments and shows vast difference in thinking between the far left and middle road America.
One of those comments is very negative directly back to Barak. The other two have little impact on McCain or Hillary. So as said.....the far left will kill Obama's chances. I have said it in the past and say it again.
