This is Obama test for patriotism. This is what he recently said.
"The test for patriotism 'is whether we are true to the ideals and values upon which this country was founded' and will to fight for them
'even when it's politically inconvenient.'
Obama has a spiritual advisor in Rev. Wright that say the following:
"White DNA was mixed into Consitution by the founding fathers."
Our countries values were laid out in the Constitution. The same Constitution that Rev Wright attacks and Barak Obama does not defend. He has never addressed Rev. Wright comments on the Constitution. As President Obama would take a oath of office to defend the Country and its Constitution. Yet while Rev Wright talks of it, he is quiet as a church mouse on it.
Barak knows that those same founding fathers latter denounced slavery by keeping it from the expanding states of the Lousana purchase. He knows what Rev. Wright is saying is inheritantly false.
Yet he does not defend the document or the men that wrote it.
Those men had more ideals and vision to what this country could be than any man alive today. Most of them paid for that with the lost of life, properties and family. Yet they clung to the Constitution that they had signed. Barak cannot even defend it with a single word when his friend and spirtual mentor attacks it.
Surely if you have a disagreement with a friend, you can go to him and can say......You are wrong here. This is what it right and honest. Barak does not do that. He just lets Rev. Wright abuse the founding document of the country and the values that it lays out for us Americans.
Let us move on. To the second part of his test on patriotism.

What about patriotism and freedom in other countries, when they are trying to fight for freedom from a dictator like Sadam Huissen. The 10 years following the first gulf war, both the Kurds in the north and Shia in the south tried to gain freedom. This is well documented. In the north Sadam used chemical weapons to suppress the Kurds. In the south he use helicopter gun ships.
It seems to me....that if you are going to expoused patriotism and freedom in your own country......when you see oppression in foreign countries ocurring at least you speak out on it. Specially if you are 'willing to fight for it'. Anyone hear Obama speak out about Sadam's oppression of his fellow country men? I did not, but surely did not listen to everything he was saying at the time.
But still why not vote for the Iraq war then? These groups were in near rebellion to Sadam. Yet Obama can say 'wrong war, wrong time'.
It does not sound to me that he holds strongly to this conviction of fighting for patriotism. It was politically inconvient to vote for the war at that point for the shia and kurds that then were oppressed by Sadam. Obama could not say yea....but could say nea.
If he is willing to fight for patriotism. Then why restrict our deployed forces in Iraqi to only hunting AlQeada? He would reduce our troop levle to 65,000 and they not do nation building. Only hunt for AlQeada.
Patriotism is woven into the building of a nation. Most often by its people. Some time by outsider that aid in the building. It thier love of country, that brings the country into being. Yet Obama would deny that the Iraqi's have this love of country. Deny their patriotism even though they are fighting and dieing for it.
You tell me.......does Obama test of Patriotism stand the test of our fore father? Honestly, few today have this love of country. Few today are running for the office of President.
