I never break up the spaghetti noodles, I use a fork and spoon to twirl up the long noodles...and I use cooked ground meat in the sauce-for my family. I don't eat ground meat, so I cook mine seperately. conversing conversing

I never break the pasta and if I have enough time (like all day), I slow cook a roast to add to my sauce. If i don't have all day to make it I use spicy Italian sausage.

Kitty, I am much like you. When I make spaghetti, I break the noodles for the boys. But if it's for me, I don't. I also can't eat hamburger. But for my boys, I either throw in the meat, or make their favorite-BBQ Meatballs. Lets not forget a side salad and garlic bread. wave

If you don't add oil to the water you're boiling it in the sauce is more well absorbed by the pasta.thumbs up
