So many desserts are slippery, jello, blancmange, etc. I don't really like any of them.

When I lived in Germany we went on a trip to Holland and there was this desert with chocolate sauce and whip cream and a cherry on top. looked delicious. When I went to eat it there was a liquor in it that was so gross not even my mom could eat it.barfing

That's what I found in Europe. cakes and pastries looked really sweet, but they seemed to be made with bitter-sweet chocolate and had liquer in it. I loved it...but most I was with left theirs on the plate.

I laugh when I walk by a "Black Forrest Cake" in the supermarket here. I know it is so sweet and not authentic, at all

Perhaps one of the worst is when I was a kid going out Trick or Treating and 'well meaning' people gave out tiny boxes of raisons.

Why isn't there a 'blech' emoticon?
