When I was a gardener, I liked Asters. Roses make me think of graveyards (childhood story--but if a man sends me roses, I won't complain!!). Where I live now, lots of trees are in bloom, and it smells figgin wonderful: another reason to LOVE MY NEW APARTMENT!smitten yay

My favorite has to be the Daffodils their one of the first flowers of spring which is my favorite season. (and of course it the nation emblem of Wales)

me to, in the garden love the smell of Honeysuckle and stock, god this is making me miss UK, I thought it was only tea bags and gravy granules i missed. laugh

Hellooooo Mair.. I like the dafs that have big head (compared to some of them)... and they have loads and loads of petals.. I'm not sure which ones they are .. I only see them sometimes.
I don't really like the ones with 3-4 little heads on them.. they have reeeeeeeally strong scent that makes me feel abit squiffy.. haha

I like tulips personally, but if we are talking smell lilacs are wonderful. My Grandmother had Lilac bushes around her backyard and when they would bloom the whole neighborhood smelled fantastic.

But, Turkey is a great place to grow things--the people I knew who were regular residents (years and years there, from UK and Turks) had either planter gardens on their terraces or real gardens. Can't you get seeds from UK and grow your own?confused
