Hi everyone.I am a sucker when it comes to Fantasy Movies.I have actually seen each of the 3 Motion Pictures about 5 times.Meanwhile I am very educated when it comes to Orcs,Trolls and the rest of the bunch of Middle Earth.My Mom called me a big boy.laugh
Oh hell what do old folks know of Middle Earth.rolling on the floor laughing
Feel free to leave a comment or act like my Mom and tell me off.
Are there more Movies out there in this Genre ?

My eldest son (nearly 16) is a MASSIVE fan..

He watches the discs over and over... rolling eyes (he has all the extended stuff)

He actually did a 600 mile round trip in one day recently to watch LOTR on stage (how?) in London.

I got the Directors' cut edition which gives you about 30 minutes more Movie.Could you ask him if he kniows of other films of that kind ?

hahah.. he is out at the moment.. but I will ask him for you.

I don't know much about it.. but you know they are making a prequel Hobbit thing? (or about to)

he has this cool shaped mug he bought at the stage show.. and on the back in little gold letters it says something like.. 'May the hair on your toes never fall off'

i LOVE Lord Of The Rings! I read the book twice years ago....they did a great job of representing the original plot with the movies! LOL!...i have an illustrated & a leather bound copy (books) of LOTR, 20 years old and The Hobbit too......i also have The Hobbit on cassettes (un opened).....showing my age again! :-(......

Not the greatest Epic Trilogy. It is nice but can not compare to Attack of the Killer Tomatoes..and it's two sequels. while I have never seen a Hobbitt, I HAVE seen a tomato! I never look at a BLT the same way now!!hole

So is mine (19 today) his room is full fo Lord of the Rings Stuff.. I have seen the trilogy a few times too. However I read the books before I saw the movies and I would say I enjoyed the books even more.wave

I have only seen the first one.. (and really enjoyed it).. but I have a lowww attention span when it comes to sitting down for too long..

I have tried to watch the 2nd one MANY times... but usually fall asleep half way throoo.. grrrrrr

Eragon is good...... i have the first & second book! It's now going to be a four part series with part 3 coming out this August.....Eragon was written by his author at the age of 15! VERY well written & i bought/watched the movie too!!!!! LOVE harry Potter too!.............
